Ever since my mother was diagnosed in 2016 with kidney cancer, I've taken a newfound appreciation for home health care. I helped my father and younger sister care for our mother in her last years. My family has instilled a kindness in me that I carry with me every single day, as it's part of who I am, of who they raised me to be. My parents taught me about how to reflect the love I've been given in my life back out into the world, and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think about how I can make a difference. I've learned a lot in my life about patience, about knowing to remain joyful in every day, as we are never promised tomorrow. I've been a caregiver for my father in the last few years as well, and I'll never regret that. Being someone who will listen, who will show up and be there for the ones we love, that is what is important to me. I hope I can be that pillar of support for others in my life, and I'm inspired by my parents kindness to do so. I enjoy being able to give others a chance at independence, to feel better about their situations knowing it doesn't have to be done alone. Helping my family in their time of need has been my greatest achievement, because at the end of the day the connections I carry through this life are what matter the most to me. I'm always wanting to learn, wanting to elevate my understanding of this life in how we can help each other, and my goal is to continue to bring that kindness instilled to me to every table I sit at in my life. My father and sister have lived their whole lives with diabetes, so I'm very familiar with treatments and knowing the signs for potential lows or highs in blood sugar levels. I believe in respecting people who need support and allow myself to be available however I can in their day to day life. I keep myself in good shape and have no problems with assisting in any heavy lifting a client may need.

I have 35 years of caregiving experience. Have taken care of patients from the age of birth to 101 yrs old. Worked with hospice care, psychiatrics hospital, parkinson's, cancer, the blind, cognitive problems, paralyzed patients, dementia and many other illnesses and diseases.

I BECAME A CAREGIVER, TO BRING LOVE AND SMILE TO OTHERS. I AM PROUD OF WHAT I DO AND I LOVE WHAT I DO. I LOVE SEEING THE JOY THAT COMES WITH GIVEN GOOD EXCELLENT CARE. I CARED FOR MY DAD WHO WAS SICK FOR FOUR YEARS BEFORE HIS PASSING, AND IT GIVES ME GREAT JOY, TO SHARE THE SAME COMPASSION WITH SOMEONE ELSE.

I become a caregiver because I have a passion for this field and enjoy working with the elderly. I like knowing that when I am taking care of a client/resident/elderly that they will get the best care and have someone who cares for them and about them. I am a single mom with four children and I have been able to accomplish getting my GED, Med-Tech Licences, PCA Certification, CPR Certified, Life & Health Insurance Licenses in 8 states and I'm working on getting my Bachelor's Degree in Business

I am a good caregiver. I care for those that are under my care. I am very attentive, aware of when I need to respond to certain situations. I act in a timely manner and willing to provide constant care.

Though I am only 28 I have a decade of experience in CNA Patient care. I have worked hospital, assisted living, skilled facility and in home.

Years of experience, I think, makes me an excellent choice to care for your loved ones. The experience has allowed me to be in many different home settings and given me the chance to learn all about what elderly become interested in as they age and begin to be unable to preform their normal daily activities. Aging is a difficult process and sometimes family members are inexperienced with the difficult task of trying to keep anxiety low, especially when dealing with sundowners in the elderly. Patience is a great asset that I've learned to have when dealing with endless questions and misunderstandings the elderly can develop.

I've always enjoying helping people & becoming a caregiver gave me a larger circle to do just that. I care for patients as if they we're apart of my family. It gives me joy to give back others in any way that I can.

All majority of my family are in the healthcare field. Everyone that I care for is treated as a member of my family would be treated. I have the ability to empathize well. I love encouraging a patient to do their best independently.
