I am a very open minded, calm person that is very dedicated to doing my job the right way. I chose to be a caregiver after taking care of my Great Aunt I love the fact that she knew she had someone she could depend on and care for her and that's what I want to provide to others. I enjoy being able to help others that is why I choose to be a caregiver.

I'm very patient with any clients I serve. I treat them like I was to take care of my own family. Former CNA and I'm going to get recertify on September 7th to get my CNA back to current. I became an EMT-IV 7 years ago, I enjoy the medical field and the sense of accomplishment it gives me after helping someone. I resigned from EMS because of the 48 and some 72 hour straight shifts. It was interfering with my family time. My father in law was in a horrible ma 8 years ago and it left him immobile, he was a diabetic, had a feeding tube and colostomy bag. After bringing him home from the MED of 6 months, I chose to help care for him. After his passing, I then decided I wished to use my knowledge and my love for helping others in a different atmosphere just as I did for him.

I feel caregiving/cna is my true calling. I enjoy helping clients with activities of daily living whom can't do for themselves. I enjoy learning about the lives my clients have lived and their families. When I have a client whom has Alzheimers or Dementia, I enjoy stepping into their world.

I became a nurse after I had my child. I have 15 years of experience as a nurse and I'm CPR certified. I've been a nurse since 2000. I started by working in the hospital and moved into private duty nursing. I've taken care of people of all ages from preemies to hospice, from mental disabilities to physical ones. I love what I do. I'll admit I get car sick so riding around isn't a good idea for me but as long as I'm driving I'm good. I do clean while I'm working. Taking out trash, doing dishes that were used, laundry, and any other messes that may come up. I'm not someone that is always on my phone and I like to interact with the people I work with. I'm a great listener and a fast learner. I love working with and learning about new people. At the moment I have a vehicle from 9am until 9pm. I've alway been told that I'm a people person and can get along with anyone. And I really hope that I will get that chance. My rate is negotiable depending on care.
