I started off as a CNA in 1999, my dream was to always be a nurse. I accomplished other degrees but ultimately went back to nursing. I am now a pediatric and trauma rehab nurse. I love caring for people, I am compassionate, patient and empathetic. I believe all people should be treated with the utmost respect .

Hello my name is Angelica I have been a caregiver for 15+ years I took care of my father he passed away last year at the age of 89. Every day I woke up ready to take care of him I love being his caregiver it was stressful at times just like with any other job but knowing every day I made a difference in his life brought me so much happiness I did everything for my dad to keep them as comfortable as possible I bathed him fed him took care of his medication I would motivate him to get out of bed and start his day to walk exercise we would watch TV shows we would play around with our dogs and we love listening to music together. After my father passed away I found other people to take care of my responsibilities are very similar to what I would do with my dad I love doing what I do.

Patience is my best trait when working with patients and helping them overcome any challenge or question they might encounter and by doing this the patient will feel comfortable by demonstrating active listing and genuinely caring and showing interest in all their needs. I like being a caregiver because i was able to help take care both of my grandparents and working in a hospital setting really showed me how much help the elderly need. As a caregiver i will meet any issues the patient might need, show compassion and listen, help with their needs which makes me happy that i'm there to help. Im proud of one of my achievements and it was helping a patient that was choking with their food. I was able to preform CPR and dislodge the piece of food which saved his life.

I was raised by my grandparents all the way up till high school. While living with them they instilled countless of values and morales. Which is why upon graduating with my B.S. from Houston Christian Univeristy, I returned home to look after them. Through them and my professional experience i've learned tremendous patience and how to properly address and handle any situation a care giver may experience. I was officially hired as my grandfathers provider through the VA when he reached 100% disability until his passing at 102. I have since worked for two other home care agencies, and have over 2 years of experience professionally. I am also sponsored by Project Arriba, while I complete a 2-year Echocardiography program at EPCC. I can say with confidence I am able to effectively and superbly perform any task as a caregiver and provide exceptional customer service.

I'm pretty friendly and I like to help people which drawn me to choosing my career path in the medical field. What attracted me to being caregiver is be able to help patients at the comfort at their own home and getting to know them better. Something that I really enjoy about being a caregiver is making an impact on the patient/client day, letting them know I'm here for them. An achievement I'm proud of is that I finished school to become a medical assistant, a stepping stone for my medical career

I have been a cna/caregiver for over 30 years, I started at the age of 17 I knew I wanted to help people our elderly population I love what I do and am a loyal compassionate caregiver. At the moment I can work weekends in the mornings for anyone who is interested your loved one will be in good hands, will be treated with dignity and respect as they should as they have earned it

I have been in the medical field for 12 years. I am empathetic and motivated when it comes to helping others. I have compassion for my patients as well as outside of my occupation. My experience as a caregiver began with a family member, who I assisted till their passing which was around my mid 20s.
