Hi, my name is Varria. I live in Kerrville, TX and I have 45+ years experience. Being oldest of 6, I've gravitated to Being a caregiver since childhood. What I enjoy most, is empowering others to enjoy life as much as possible. I'm most proud of being primary caregiver, and encourager, to a terminally ill relative who was estranged from his other relatives

I am a very experienced, dedicated, caring, compassionate, Certified Nursing Assistant with over seventeen years if experience in the healthcare field. I have worked with a wide variety of patient's of all ages, disabilities, and medical needs:: Alzheimer's, Dementia, Mental Health , Down Syndrome, Autism, Mental Retardation, Parkinson's , Hospice Patient's , or patients recovering from cancer treatments, heart attacks, strokes ,and major surgeries.. I have also worked in a variety of healthcare places such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, ,clients homes, group homes, physiatrist hospitals , drug treatment facilities, hospitals and emergency rooms . My focus is always on providing my patient's with the best care attainable. I am a patient advocate above all else and feel every patient should feel cared for and listened to in every situation. I am very loyal to my patients and there families and will do whatever I can to make their experience a positive one. So if your looking for quality care by someone who loves what they do, then look no further; I'm defiantly the one you want.! I plan on further my skills by becoming a (LVN) License Vocational Nurse, and will be attending classes in the fall . I am very well rehearsed in all First Responder roles such as CPR (child/ adult) First Aide, and Heimlich Maneuver. I have been taking these courses for over sixteen years and I'm very proficient and knowledgeable in the event these skills are needed,. I have had to resuscitate two of my prior clients over the years. All of my training and shots are current CPR/First Aide is up to date until 2023.

I am a 34yr old mother of 3. I have one son and 2 daughters. I hVe worked in health care for 15 years. The majority of my work has been with the elderly, with the primary focus being with thoes who suffer from memory care issues (Dementia,Altzhimers). I am extremely passionate about the career field I have chosen. I build strong relationships with my patients/clients, and I love learning about them, their passion, and goals.

I have been in the home health field for over 25 yrs, Caring for people is my passion, I am a mother of 3 daughters, and raising my granddaughter. I am a very loving and caring person, I believe in taking care of those like they were my own family. I enjoy working with people, if I can just make them smile once a day, then I've done something rite.

I began my caregiver career 13 years ago and I have always followed the first rule I was taught: remember this is their home and you are the guest! That rule applies to any and all caregiver settings. I have found that if i truly respect and enjoy my patients and their belongings, everyone stays happy! I am lucky enough to say with confidence that I have found my true calling!
