Hello my name is Kendra Johnson I have been a Certified Nursing Assistance for 16 years I have worked in different settings nursing home,hospice care, hospital, home care in more. I have a passion at what I do I love it .

I was too young to remember the story but my aunt says when I was 4 years old, that I comforted and reassured her when she was crying over a breakup with her boyfriend. I believe this was the beginning of my journey to care for others. I majored in Social Work and have had a wonderful 27 year career of working with children, adolescents and the aging. I have worked at UVA hospital where I gained insight into the importance of maintaining good health and how devastating a disease or accident is on one's health and life. I have worked for department of social services and assisted the aging with receiving the services needed to remain in their home or to move into a facility. At this time, I am doing "hands on" care in people's home to assist them with various activities of daily living. My mother was bedridden for many years and I was one of her primary caregivers. I know the burden on family when caring for a loved one and the importance of support. My grandfather lived to be 96 and I was there for him to assist with shopping, meal prep, housekeeping, medication reminders and transportation. I cherish the times that I spent with my mother and grandfather caring for them. I also cherish the support I received from others.

I began my journey into the Caregiver when my grandmother got sick and I knew it was my calling. I really enjoy being there for others always. I am very patient and very concerned in the happiness and comfortableness of my clients. I follow instructions well and I do like to do a daily journal of my clients day so the family knows all that has happened throughout my day with their loved one.

Easy going , independent, very dedicated and easy to work with . I try my best to accommodate the patient while getting the job done safely and effectively . I love helping people

I am very passionate about the work that I do. I believe that each care plan should be individualized; and each person's needs should be evaluated and assessed on a regular basis. I enjoy the creativity that is involved with being a Caregiver, and I equally enjoy the amazing persons with whom I come into contact. In terms of my personal achievements, the one that I am the most proud of is my success and graduation from two Universities. I have a degree in both Nutrition Science and in Nursing. Similarly, I am certified in Basic Life Support, and I have an active license to practice as a Registered Nurse. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening and watching sports. My schedule is very flexible, and I work dutifully to meet the clients needs.

Hello my name Elsie Coleman I have been a caregiver for 32 years I love working in the field and helping other it's my passion. I have traveled with clients n did live in care.

I am 38yrs old and I have worked in the healthcare industry for 18+ years. I started in assisted living doing aide duties. I then worked my way up to medication technician, then to resident care coordinator. During that time I also went to school and achieved my EMT liscence. After 10yrs at the same facility I chose to resign and Perdue my EMS career. I have always enjoyed taking care of people, it is the most fullfilling and personally rewarding thing to me. I am honest, dependable, trustworthy, and empathetically compassionate.

I have more than 15 years of clinical experience working with adults. I am a licensed Registered Nurse. I have precepted new graduates, and I have had my certification as a Medical Surgical nurse and in Basic Life Support, and in Acute Care Life Support. I am passionate about caregiving, and I enjoy working with those clients with dementia. I have volunteered with the Alzheimer's Association for the past 5 years. I enjoy helping patients with medication management and skin care. I am able to think critically, and I enjoy working as a member of a cohesive team. I also have experience working with end of life care and palliative care, and I enjoy those disciplines.

I been came a caregiver when my grandmother was sick and in need of help. It broke my heart to see that she was in need of help and wasn't getting the proper care she deserves that's why I became a caregiver so I could help people that couldn't help there self. I love it when I make a difference in someone's life, making their day by day happy and meaningful it's very rewarding at the end of the day. I been a Licensed CNA for over 20yrs wouldn't trade my work I do for nothing. I love taking care of people it's a wonderful feeling to see them happy.
