I became a caregiver in 2011 I am CPR certified,I have my Nurse Delegation,Dementia &Alzheimer's, Developmental Disabilities speciality training,Mental Health ,Insulin Delegation i have all my certificates of competition. It is my passion to take care of others it has always been my dream job since I was little I wanted to become a nurse, I enjoy working with the clients of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds and have a demonstrated ability to develop great relationship with them and their families. Moreover, I am trustworthy and responsible person who takes great pleasure in all kinds of caregiving tasks. Besides, I am dedicated to work hard and always accept challenges to produce winning outcomes. Over and above, I am an active team player who is able to work effectively with managers and co-workers. I have been in many setting witch includes an adult family home where I cooked,cleaned,bathed,and did medication administrations along with patient adls with 6 residents to myself for 12 hours a day. Ive also worked at rehabilitation facilities,assisted living as a med tech. My favorite thing about what i do is knowing that i play a special part in someone's life who can no longer take of themselves and i get the privilege to do so and having the trust of it being all in my hands. Im very proud of myself for sticking with being a caregiver and getting all the diffrent trainings i have and experience i have gotten from it.

I having been a police for over 25 years, my career changed suddenly in 2018 after I lost my sister to cancer. I was away when she passed on and when I came back I was told that my sister's health detorriated so much and she had no caregiver to assist her even to get to hospital at times perhaps she would have atleast lived longer if there was someone to assist her. I was disappointed to know this and from that day on I decided to go out and care for those who need help so here I am and I always want to give the best I can.

Hello my name is Karla, I have been a caregiver since 1998. Besides caregiving I also have a love for animals, dogs, cats, horses, etc. I live on a small farm in Vader. I knew I wanted to be a caregiver when I was 16, my grandfather moved in with us and we hired hospice to help us care for him. I was in awe of the help we recieved from these wonderful ladies. I worked in a hospital for 20 years. I started out in housekeeping then went to school to recieve my Certified Nurses Aide certificate for Washington state. I have worked in many aspects for the hospital from babies to hospice, emergency room to recovery. I choose to do in home health care when I moved to Vader. I enjoy in home caregiving because I get to meet very interesting clients and families. I enjoy the slower pace of caring for a client one on one. From bathing, playing games, Dr appointments, cooking and cleaning their homes. I am happy to do what it takes to keep your family member safe and happy in their home environment.

My goal as a care giver is to provide quality of life to all who need it. Provides compassionate care, focuses on clients ability to stay in there home to end of life process.

I currently have 12 years of experience in the medical field. I started out my career as a CNA working in an assisted living facility. Working with patients who had Alzheimer's and dementia, there was a retirement side for individuals who just needed assistance with ADLs and also a Medicare site for patients who had been discharged from the hospital and we're needing follow-up care. Since then I've been working As a medical assistant in different areas. I've worked with OB and infertility I've worked with family care gastroenterology urgent care special needs and pediatrics as well as geriatric care. I'm currently working out a gastroenterology clinic. And I really enjoy doing so. I really enjoy working with elders and being able to reach them on a whole different level because of my experience. I'm looking for a side work opportunity to be able to bless somebody with that kind of experience that I do have.

I'm caring easy to talk too. I lived below an adult family home at the age of 12 that's what inspired me to be a caregiver .My mom was a caregiver as well and trained me. I love working with seniors !!

Well I've always had a caring nature about me and am a very hardworking and dedicated person, i have always wanted to help anyone i had came across that was sick and needed care. A little backstory for u is when i got my nursing degree so i could start helping my father with his everyday needs as well as helping him get around the house as he was in great deal of pain and would loose breath trying to just roll over. So i took a course in college nursing 090, and by the end of the class i had learned how to transfer him with out a great deal of pain! It made my days well worth every moment, and although he unfortunately did not make it to see me graduate, he sadly passed five short months before i graduated with a 3.8 gpa from LCC here in longview. So i then went on to caring for others in they're homes and absolutely loved becoming apart of many new familys along the way, making all of my clients feel comfortable, loved, important and always giving them a sense of security knowing that i would be there everyday for them and their daily needs that were not bieng or able to be fully met. One thing u should know about me is no matter what i have always enjoyed helping others, which is why i feel i would be a great candidate for you and for your in-home care needs to be met.
