What makes me a Great Caregiver is that I genuinely love Elders, I am organized, a Great Listener, Champion, understanding, Peaceful , Good Cook, and Clean. What attracted me to becoming a Caregiver came to me naturally. I always looked after my grandparents and my Father. That's when I discovered that I loved to create a atmosphere of comfort during difficult times. I am proud to be called a Caregiver.
I always try to treat my clients like I would like my family to be treated by a caregiver. I use to help my great grandpa with daily things and he inspired me to be a caregiver. Seeing them doing better then when I started out. Being able to chase my dreams and work at the same time as I'm doing school.
I'm a very empathetic, loving person. I love being around people and I absolutely love helping people. I'm a quick learner, a hard worker, and am reliable. I've always wanted to work in the healthcare field, and I plan on taking college courses while making enough money to support my husband and me. I hope to graduate with several different medical certificates within the next year or two. I've gone through some really hard things in my life, and because of them, I'm able to be more empathetic and understanding of others' difficulties. I've prevented over 10 attempted suicides and pride myself on being someone people can count on to help them when they need it the most.
I first became a Certified Nursing Assistant 15 years ago after my first child was born. I then realized the joy I had while caring for individuals and learned to love what I did. The one on one care with individuals is the best, especially when I see their faces light up when I walk into their room. It makes me feel and know without a shadow of a doubt that I am doing my job correctly. I've learned to have patience and my compassion and empathy have increased tremendously. My next goal is to continue my education and receive my BSN. I have four kids now and a loving fiance that supports my dreams in becoming a nurse.

I became a caregiver originally to help pay my way through nursing school and get hands on experience in the field. What I like most about being a caregiver is the peace of mind we bring to the families, knowing their loved ones are well cared for. One personal achievement of mine is that being a caregiver, or able to help others has always been a motivating factor in my life. It helped me do well in school and now in the work force. I give nothing but my best and I'm always honest in everything I do. I'm twenty years old, became a caregiver right out of high school, and would love to continue progressing in the nursing field and become a Pediatrics Nurse. I live at home with my family and would love to be able to help my dad retire and live comfortably one day.
I always had it in my heart since a little girl to want to be a nurse and help people and i have helped many people with health care throughout the years and i really enjoy it as i decided to start care giving again to occupy a lot of free time i have as side from working my real estate business. Its just a natural feeling in my blood i guess, i feel more draw to care giving than to do anything else in my free time. I will be very pleased to meet and talk to anyone who may need my assistance. I'm a very trustworthy, honest care giver with tender loving care.
