I consider myself to have been in the care business for a number of years at one time owning my own in home care services and then later graduating with a master's in counseling offering other services of clinical care, and pre need services. Now I'm at a point in my life that I just want to slow down a bit, still helping, but give of my time to families who are in need of help in Care giving. Care giving is very rewarding, no matter what capacity of care giving, it gives to self worth when you can truly find the time and open your heart to someone in need.
I am very kind and compassionate person. Actually got into this business because of a simple conversation with a potential employer regarding my own family experience's with providing care to ALS patient (mother-in-law) as well as my own father with dimentia/Alzheimer's disease. Spent many years caring for both parents while raising my own family. Have since been employed as a caregiver for many years now.
I became a Caregiver because I enjoy helping others. I like being able to assist others with chores and duties they cannot fulfill themselves, as well as being a companion to the elderly. A personal achievement I have made is making a difference in someone else's life. I have achieved this by tutoring many students within various school districts in all subjects, and youths both incarcerated and released, but were on probation. I have earned my Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Admin/Human Services, and plan to start on my Master's degree in the near future in Social work or Psychology. I love spending time with family and worship my four grandsons, they are a true blessing to me! ***My rates vary depending on the type of care needed and for multiple people. I also charge double time on holidays. Thank you, and have a wonderful day!!!

I became a caregiver 7 years ago when I had to take care of one of my loved ones. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. What I like about being a caregiver is that I learn more and more as time passes, what my patients expect from me and also what I learn from them, the care that they want, and the friendship that is built. I don't have an attitude of \"That's not my job.\" Whatever needs to be done, let's do it! I'm caring, outgoing, fun and always have a smile on my face.
