I make a great caregiver because of my current and past experience with Alzheimer's and dementia patients/clients. I was attracted to the caregiver profession because I have all been Caregiver my entire life. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the smile on my client's face and the bond between our friendships. I am personally proud of my ability to stick to my position as an Alzheimer's and dementia caregiver, when others have quit or done a poor job with people that needed them. I was taught. by my grandparents to respect my elders and that my elders are (wiser then thou) with that in mine I go beyond the call of duty to care my clients. If I should ever need care, I hope to be treated with the same care and dignity I treat my clients.
I am honest, hardworking, and have a heart for taking care of people. I have been with the same lady since 2003 and she has become family. She passed away this month. I plan on finishing nursing school as soon as my kids are all in school. I feel like my calling is to take care of people.
I believe the qualities that make me a great caregiver are patience, compassion and attentiveness. These qualities are essential in assisting a patient at their bedside in their time of need. As stressful it can be for someone who no longer has the physical ability they once had, there needs to be someone who is understanding and empathetic to their desires to ensure comfort. My interest in becoming a caregiver comes from being the one my grandparents call on for help. I strongly believe in giving back to the community and equal effort for all ages of those in stand in the need of care. My enjoyment stems from seeing interacting and seeing my patients smile. I'm proud of the fact that step by step I'm making an impact on my patients as they always ask to see me again. Once I secure the peace of mind in my patients' families hearts and minds, my job is complete.
Patience when it comes to my clients understanding their particular needs and the needs of the family being prompt scheduling time management Thinking Out of the Box not every client is a cookie-cutter situation clients and family needs first and foremost being a liaison between some family members and doctors all around Healthcare being a private caregiver as its own Rewards
I love to laugh and put my all into my clients to make sure they receive the best care possible. I love the one on one care with the client and love to see smiling faces which tells me I'm doing an excellent job caring for my client. I love building the trust within the family and the client's. My last client was diagnosed with PSP which is a neurological disease that affects the brain for 6 months until he recently passed. I consider myself a caregiver who wears my heart on my sleeve.
i worked as a special needs caregiver for 3 and a half years. the home closed and i began looking for another job. there wasnt anything in that area available. at home health care called me and asked if i would be willing to work with the elderly. i have worked for 1 and a half years with the elderly. it has been awesome. it is hard to lose people you have been caring for. however, i am so blessed to have known them and help care for them. i am down to one client and need more work. i am looking forward to to meeting new friends. i specialize in the nastiest homes and the most difficult people. i look forward to hearing from you.

I enjoy working with people of all ages. I have a special place in my heart for the seniors if I'm being honest. I enjoy the companionship and all the stories. I am very dedicated to the work I do and I thrive to make everyone's life easy and their days and nights run as smoothly as possible. I'm very dependable, punctual, and reliable.
I made the decision to become a caregiver after my grandmother passed from Alzheimer's. I know firsthand what a family expects from a caregiver. I'm extremely patient, compassionate, empathetic, honest and a caring person. My organizational skills are excellent for medication or bill paying needs.
My grandmother and I have a very close relationship. I love going and visiting her as much as I can. My mom used to work in a senior home and I loved to go up there and bring her dinner and get to talk to the elderly she was watching at the time. If you choose me, you won't regret it. I'm here for support, companionship, and any needs to be taken care of.
