What makes me a great care giver is that I am attentive and I respond to situations in a timely manner. The thought of helping people who can't help them self attracted me mostly to becoming a caregiver. I enjoy it mostly because I am able to meet new people and share different experiences with them. An achievement I am proud of is getting my SafeServe Certification.

I have a passion for caring and helping others out. I enjoy caring for others that once cared for us. I love hearing their stories, getting to know them, and meeting their families. To see a smile on your loved one's face, is how I know they are having a great quality of life. That is what I love doing with being a caregiver. Their happiness, is my happiness. I love what I do. I also have my adult/child abuse certificate, and am CPR certified.

I have worked as a CNA, DSP, and home health. I have been working in the health care field for 6 years now and I have my Certification in medication. I've always enjoyed helping people since I was a little girl. My dream is to become a Registered Nurse. I'm very sweet, kind, loving and understanding. Hello, My name is Precious Yakubu I am a mother of three, and also currently a Student at Full Sail University set to Graduate September of 2022. Growing up, I enjoyed helping around house, doing little chores like talking the trash out, washing the dishes, warm food up, and also helping my mom with baby sitting my younger siblings. As soon as I was able to work, at the age of 14 in Ireland, I got a summer job, helping a lady in her 90s with her laundry, I felt proud of myself, this lead to me getting a community award. When I moved to America at the age of 17, I got my CNA and , every since then I have worked in the medical field which I love and enjoy so much. Taking care, and helping a person in need with there daily activities has been a trait I enjoy doing, I treat others the way I would love to be treated.

Over the years I have supported my husband in his various church ministries. Supporting him and raising our 5 children did not allow me to have a paying job, but it has given me many opportunities to help people in all different situations. I have worked with many disabled and elderly folk. We cared for an elderly man in our home for a short time and I was with him at his death. I have helped in homes with cleaning, cooking, physical hygiene, shopping, laundry, and companionship as well as comforting the dying. I was involved with the care of my own father until his passing two years ago. My mother may soon need my care as well. Years ago, I was trained as a CNA; however, this was before the days of certification. I worked for a couple years in a nursing home and then later in a home for the developmentally disabled. It was very rewarding work, and I was able to use the experience over the years to help and encourage people in our own churches. My husband is currently unemployed, but I still have a desire to find work that would allow me to help people in personal ways. At present I am on a waiting list to take the training to become a certified nursing assistant. I am pleasant, patient, compassionate, empathetic, hard working and honest. I have great respect for the wisdom and experience of the elderly. I try to help them have as much independence and dignity as possible. I enjoy cooking, crafting, sewing and 14 grandchildren!

I have a huge heart. I grew up with 12 siblings. Caring for the younger kids made me want to help whoever I could. I'm always happy to help with what I can. I love seeing a person happy or smiling with my work. I go above and beyond for the people around me.

I am empathetic, kind, and I listen to the clients concerns, then I research information about the concern and offer an opinion that can be discussed with family, then they can discuss it with their phyaician. I believe a dietary plan is most important for curing issue of poor health. My mom is 92 in Jan. and she still takes care of herself for the most part. She had leukemia and now it's gone. I was diagnosed with 4th stage breast cancer in 2016, had no medical treatments or surgery's and am doing fine. I chose art for a Hobbie (painting). Meditation and consciousness are also important in my opinion. I have helped to take the fear out of passing away for many people throughout my 62 years of life. Patience is my middle name. I am without a car right now but have a friend who taxis me around. I do have a drivers license to drive a car if necessary, and you provide the car. The money I make will go towards purchasing one. I am a good cook and don't mind cleaning, laundry, dishes, or even yard work. Sunlight is what gives us energy. I WILL NEED TO KNOW THE WEIGHT AND HEIGHT OF THE PATIENT IN ORDER TO CONSIDER APPLYING FOR A JOB. I am 5'3" in height and weigh 135 Lbs. I have a subscription to Gaia for educating anyone interested in knowing the science side of spirituality and our immortality. We can experience life but not death because our spirt takes an altered state after leaving the body. I would prefer to live-in for a time until I can purchase a car. I had an accident and need to replace it. At that time I can find a place to move if that suits you better. This might effect wages in order to afford a close location depending on the amount of hours and rental prices.
