I am CNA, HHA, Med-Tech, and now a Care Manager. I love helping others that are in need! I had a daycare for 18 years. I was looking for something else in helping others that's why I went back to school to become a CNA and HHA. I'm now in Care Management. I manage medication's, doctors appointments, transportation and oversight of senior care. Which includes case management that includes, family members that live out of state, that I oversee their family members to make sure they are receiving the best care. I love spending time with the elderly. I would not trade my job as a Care Manager/caregiver. I have taken care of many seniors, in the last 17 years and love it so much! It makes me feel so good when I go in to help others that are having a hard time taking care of themselves. And family members needing oversight of their family members in need of care. Vaccinated.

Well, a little bit about myself .... my name is Heather and I am a 30 year old woman and mother to an amazing five year old boy named Gabriel and we live in Lancaster . I love helping people ! I have a special place in my heart for preemies and the elderly :) the reason being is because they need a little more help, patience and love at times and I have found it to be extremely rewarding when I can assist and make a difference for the better in someone else's life. I am a very reliable, friendly caring and responsible care companion . I really form a bond with every patient that I have worked for and we've more so become like family. I love my family and friends and that's who I'm with when not working . Hello! My valuing of and enjoyment of seniors drew me to this work. During my education in human services, I interned at an assisted living facility that also provided nursing care. I provided companionship in both the general population as well as the dementia wing. It was a very enjoyable and fulfilling experience. I am excited to bring joy to my clients and assist them in continuing to live independent lives in the comfort of their own homes. I love to cook, bake, read, and garden, as well as nutrition. I also love animals, card games, and listening to people's stories. I often find that seniors have the BEST stories.

I have been helping to care for my father who was combat wounded in Iraq. My mother has many major medical issues that I assist her with. I enjoy being able to help get people to feel better.

My girlfriend, who is a nursing student and a caregiver, recommended that I become a caregiver due to the lack of men in the field, my patience with those in need, and my desire to help others. I was skeptical at first, but have since worked with all kinds of patience with all kinds of needs. From a seventeen year old with autism to a forty year old with late stage MS, to an eighty seven year old with Parkinson's and Dementia. I have come to enjoy my clients and feel honored to assist them in their day to day lives.

Fun and easy going. I enjoy cooking and helping out with a lot of different tasks. I like puzzles, scrabble, and taking walks. I also enjoy many other activities like painting. I strive to create a good bond and friendship with my client.

I am a very personable person I've always worked in retail because I loved the person to person interaction. I've always been able to get along with most people because I could read and pickup on their personality and that helped me better understand them as a person. I got attracted to caregiving because I wanted to give more to those around me. I believe that everyone who need assistance should get the help they deserve because there's so much negativity out there, there needs to be more positivity and kindness. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is getting to provide that comfort that other need and making them feel at ease because they aren't alone. A personal achievement in pound of is going to trade school to become more knowledgeable about how to help others i never likes school not because of the learning though it was more the teachers and other student and how you were ranked as a person by a grade in the grade book so I never thought I'd go back to school after high school until I found my path to caregiving I was actually passionate about it and excited to be going back to school and learning about something I was interested in so it was a proud moment for me ,
