Hello, my name is Jasmin Woolfolk and I am excited to begin caring for your loved ones. I have been a caregiver for over fifteen years. I have a passion for helping people in any way that I can. That includes physically, mentally, and emotionally. I enjoy most being able to provide care that an individual or family member is in actual need of. I've recently graduated with my Master's Degree and Human Services. Serving and empowering people is a lifelong task and passion of mine.

What makes me a good caregiver is I take pride in my work, I take care of your loved ones just as you would expect. I see my clients as I would my own family. What attracted me to become a caregiver the last 6 years is when I was little girl my grandmother needed more help around the house and full filling her regular routine. Growing up my father needed the same help as he was bed bound I refused to let him go to a nursing home so I made sure to help him in anyway I could. The main thing that I enjoy most about being a caregiver is knowing that families loved ones are being taken care of and not being neglected or abused. It makes me feel whole that I can bring light back into someone's life wether it be just providing companionship or making my clients feel they are not alone. One of my biggest personal achievements I am proud of would be being a mom, taking care of my kids and also having the extra passion to take care of someone else warms my heart.

Being in the healthcare field for over 10 years, had shown me the importance of helping ones to be able to stay at home with assist. I have rehabbed many to assisted living, ECF, and home settings throughout my career. I love working with all ages but most experienced with geriatric population. My personality is outgoing, creative, and compassionate. I will try my hardest to fulfill all requirements but attempt to make it as enjoyable as possible. I am CPR certified and am up to date on all TB, MMR, amd flu vaccinations. I would love to assist with keeping older ones in their home as long as safely possible.

I enjoy working with people and the most enjoying part about my job is being able to have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoy taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in any way I can. I have been working as a caregiver since 2009 until 2022 helping family members and family friends mostly. I enjoy watching them smile when I walk into their door and knowing I can make a difference in other peoples lives make me love my job more and more each day. If I can't make them smile my entire day is messed up. And the most important part is loving them as if they were my own family members. I treat people as if I would want someone to treat my own. And that's with nothing but love and opening arms. And when that happens I know for a fact my job is done!!!!

I am a detail-oriented college student who has consistently been praised as hard-working by my teachers and previous managers. During the course of my academic career, I also managed to accrue nearly 25 years of work experience. I have the privilege of working for SIU School of Medicine as a medical office associate where I have learned valuable professional skills such as customer satisfaction, customer service and scheduling. I have over 20 years of experience working in the health care field with the elder and disable adults I truly take proud in helping others for me it is a very rewarding job. Whether working on academic, extracurricular, or professional projects, I apply proven communication, multitasking and teamwork skills, which I hope to utilize in this position as a caregiver.

Hi, my name is Vanessa Phillips. I am a mother of two, a daughter (8) and a son (3). I have been a Certified Nursing Assistant for 8 years now. I have worked in pretty much every area of my field such as geriatrics, hospice, home care, assisted living, and so on. I love the Nursing field and will be continuing my career as I got accepted into LLCC's ADN program beginning this Fall. I have worked so hard for this opportunity and hope to become an RN in 2023 after graduation and passing my boards. I am very passionate about Nursing and I believe this shows in my work and everyday life. I have a mothering, patient nature about myself and love to care for others by being helpful, promoting independence, and making great differences in their lives. I am a hardworking, team player, but I also prefer to be on a one on one basis with clients as I tend to provide quality care and attention to them because that is usually what most seek, companionship. I enjoy perfecting my craft and can't wait to become a great Nurse one day.
