Hi! I'm Heather. I have been in this profession for about 10 years now. There's nothing more than i love being a caregiver. I have bathed, I have groomed, IVE done the exercises, the feeding , cooking, errands, doctors. Just about all of it. Everyone seems to love me and say im outgoing. I just try to be there because I know they need a companion and I know even though no matter how my day is going at the time, showing up and being there with them makes theirs and that makes my day 100 percent better. I'm very compassionate and patient. I've previous experience taking care of my brother who suffered from muscular dystrophy since he was 8-20. I've been granted a citizenship award in high school for my efforts with him. I want to help impact peoples lives for the better, and I believe that i would be well suited for this position. A smile is worth a thousand words and if I can help peoples lives a little less difficult and make them smile, I feel as though I've done a good job.

Hello, my name is Lindsay I am a mom of 5, my children are my world. Some traits of mine are that I am caring, loving, empathetic, understanding, compassionate, and committed. I have over 5 years of caregiving experience and it is a field of work that I love because of helping people. The thing I enjoy the most about caregiving is helping those in need and providing a safe, comfortable and supportive environment and truly caring for people. The achievement I am most proud of is being a mom.

Something I've always took pride in is how caring I am towards people. I have always been empathetic and really dive in to conversations with people too get to know them. I am compassionate. I have always been a team player but I also believe in being a leader. I've put a lot of thought into being a healthcare worker, because it is not an easy job. But I've also thought about how many people need help in being cared for. I love the job that I do. I believe the most personal achievement I am proud of is getting so close to my patients. I've connected with a lot of people. I remember I had a patient that I took care of for almost a year and I really connected with her. After some time she got really sick and was soon going to pass. I met her family and asked them if I could sing to her and they let me ( I sang to her a lot). Little did I know that they were not going to be able to have a service for her. When we were done singing and praising they all just cried and thanked me. They told me that they weren't going to be able to have service and it was as if God brought the service through me as a vessel. I believe that was my greatest accomplishment in this job.

I feel I am a great care giver because I love to help people and build relationships with them to know how to handle situations and know what they like so I can help them to the best of my advantage.
