I am a mother of 2 grown children , grandmother of 2 little boys, and 1 little girl, have been married for 30 years , I have taken care of people with disabilities for over 20 years . I love taking care of people, this job makes me feel useful and I love what I do. I will do my best to make your family member feel wanted and needed.

What makes me a good caregiver is I love my job I love and take care of people like they are my own faimly, I've had 19 yrs of experience and I never get tired of my job, I'm dependable I've been a cna since 1998 and I decided to be a cna because I know at the end of the day I made a difference in someone's life that needed it!!

I became a CNA in July of 2014 after losing my daughter Karleigh to a genetic disease SMA. It's alot like ALS except it's the infant form. I wanted to help people in the same way that the nurses and staff helped my baby girl. I fell in love with the job. I started the pre nursing school in 2016 and am currently going for my RN at Lewis and Clark. Now that I take care of people for a living I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

I enjoy being a caregiver and helping people. I have primarily worked with people with developmental disabilities and have had my dsp certificate since 2008. I am CPR certified and have been trained on jtube care. I get a lot out of a job that makes me feel like I'm making a difference in someone's life.

i became a caregiver because there was a time that my mother was hospitalized for a few days and i saw good and bad of being a caregiver. i saw the good that involved being able to help others that could not do it on their own and just being able to be there for them and offer as much as i could, and i saw the bad because in some places they lack professional compassionate caregivers and i saw that in me that i could be caring and also show these people in need that there is people out there that still enjoy helping and beeing able to be there for one another. i am proud that with my hard work i been able to work full time and go to school and became a c.n.a is a small step but you must start at the bottom of the ladder to get to the top. i am a hispanic 22 year old male that puts his heart into everything he does and just think that any one that i am helping is someone very close to me and give them the respect and service that they deserve.

I became a caregiver because I love spending time with the elderly and to want to give back to the elderly population that help us(me) to were I'm at today. What I like about being a caregiver is that I get to help the elderly and spend time with them.
