I love taking care of the elderly because when my grandparents were alive I would help my mother take care of them, this is how I realized this was my calling. Caring for my grandparents gave me first-hand experience in caregiving. When I take care of others, I am reminded of my grandparents and hope to provide the same love and care for others.
Everyone I come in contact with loves to talk with me! I'm a very energetic person with lots of smiles. I provide care to others when they can't help themselves. I love what I do and have a passion for what I do. I like to make a difference in other people's life. Myself I believe the love and care you give to other person represents who you are as a person. I'm very dependable and I have no problem with working a lot of hours when needed, I'm always available. As many years as I have been a nursing assistant I have never had someone say anything negative about me. My bosses have always had great things to say about me as a person and an employee as well as my co workers too. I own my own vehicle with insurance and can do anything I am asked. I have experience in hospital, nursing Home, assisted living, and home care settings. I have experience Cath removal and insert as well as oxygen tanks tubing and all equipment. I have cared for patient with diabetes and checking sugar and reminding and administrating medication to patients. I have great references and work history if needed. I'm also FIRST AID/CPR certified and I have just finished Medical Assisting classes, will be taking the state test this year as well.
Hi my name is clarissa Adams I'm a single mother of one and been caregiving for 10 years now. I chose this career because enjoy creating bonds with clients and their family and this is also a job that has to be done. I used to work in a nursing home and did not like the way the clients were being treated and I felt like no matter how much I report anything even though I will if I see something wrong its up to the caregivers to make sure that they show compassion and be considerate of the clients and do their job properly. I understand that sometimes the family just cant be there for their loved one and it completely doesn't mean they don't love them that's where I come in I have no issue with working over I'm very reliable I often sacrifice my holidays for clients but I consider them family as well. Most of all I would love to get to know you the caretakers of my future clients. I'm very polite and have plenty of experience in hospice care and basic needs care. I would love for you to get to know me better in person if you choose me. Thank you for taking the time to consider me God Bless.
I'm very compassionate when it comes to taking care of my patient's and I'm an excellent listener. I have been in the health career for fifteen years and I'm currently in the nursing program at Richland Community College to become an RN. I would like to help someone in there home that needs help with activities of daily living because I feel it's important to manage care at home, where they feel the most comfortable. I enjoy the compassion it takes to be a good caregiver and I enjoy helping others. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is I continue to love the nursing field and I love the opportunity to be able to grow and learn different areas of nursing and home care is one that I feel I will enjoy as well.
I became a caregiver about 4 years ago I absolutely enjoy working with the elderly and love being there for them physically mentally and emotionally I have a very loving vibe and also very caring I'm very outgoing and easy going I love to talk with the elderly people and see how there life was growing up and just being there for someone for them to talk to so they won't feel alone. Although every day can be different and challenging in many ways I learned how to cope with certain things as I've grown over the years in the healthcare field. I'm very friendly and someone you can trust to get the job done the right way to take care of your loved one.
1. I always enjoyed volunteering and helping the elderly and disabled growing up in a nursing home and making a difference 2. A background on myself: I'm determined to go forward and strive for excellence. I'm a hard worker and a fast learner. I'm dependable. I get daily compliments that I do a great job on my hard work. I follow the rules and do my best at completing my job or task. I'm willing to work past the time I'm suppose to clock out to make sure I retrace my steps and make sure I completed all my duties and make sure I didn't forget anything. I worked in a fast pace and a slow pace I can manage both! You most certainly can count on me I won't let you down!! If I were to be rated how good of an employee I will make sure you get 5 stars every time. I've worked alone and I also worked with a group so I can manage either. I'm easy to get along with don't talk much or start any trouble or gossip. I'm very focus and motivated to just be a better human being. I don't never mind working I'm not a lazy person. I'm always quick on my feet. I work faster than other. When I know the routine and it's set to do daily I can get the hang of it in 3-4 days tops. I'm a quick thinker. I'm very smart and observant and considerate of others and last but not least very helpful and caring. I'm a sweetheart, and very kindhearted as well.
I became a caregiver because I knew when I was 10 years old this is what I wanted to do, my mom had to have a major stomach surgery and her incision got infected so the home health nurse came to the out everyday to repack and clean the wound out, I would help the nurse bloody gauze and nasty stuff everywhere but it didn't gross me out, I make an amazing caregiver because I always put myself in a different pair of shoes , what if it was my mother, father, or grandparent? How would I want them to be treated? I am very proud of myself for having that mentality. I thrive off of making my clients/patients smile every single day.
