The school lost accreditation and my license was invalid. My externship site ;Shore llc, offered me a full time position and I've been hooked ever sense. I love the sense of accomplishment I get from being able to help those who can't help themselves. I'm a consistent and dependable feature in their life. I look forward to being all that they need and more. I'm also pursuing my bachelor's in science in an effort to attend medical school. I just like to help people and this is the best way I know how.
I became a caregiver because I like the elderly and care about them. I have a lot of knowledge of nutrition and have been able to help them improve their nutrition and therefore improve their health. I have been able to help a 96 y/o lady recover from a mild stroke by improving her nutrition and using megavitamin therapy. I am a patient and considerate woman who is concerned about the elderly's well being.
I have been working with the elderly for over 20 years. With time comes experience and the understanding of how much care and compassion the elderly needs on the regular basis. I have worked with nearly all forms of disabilities that some elderly people goes through. From mental disorders, such as dementia clients to physical disorders, such as Huntington disease clients. I don't want anybody in this world to suffer but in particular, to me, the elderly are the ones who needs the most care, companionship, and assistance for the rest of their lives. I find joy and comfort in knowing that I can help senior citizens in anyway I can. I love being an aide for senior citizens. My work and dedication show's it.
I am a very caring person with a lot of patience and I always empathize with my clients. I enjoy caring for others because it gives me fulfillment and satisfaction. After taking care of my grandma for couple of years before her demise I realize caregiving is something I enjoy and take pride doing. The happiness my clients express at the end of each day is what i enjoy. Graduating from law school back in Nigeria is my greatest achievement.
