I worked as a medical assistant for 3 years. I took care of my grandma making sure she took her medications daily as well as preparing her food every day making sure she was comfortable until the day she passed. Now I take care of my husband due to him having many medical issues. I am very easy to get along with and treat all my patients with respect and compassion. It has always been a passion of mine to help others in need of assistance.
I have been a CNA for 18+ years, I became a caregiver so I could take care of my grandma. I love what I do. I am honest, trustworthy, funny, kind, loving, and can be firm if need to be. I am a stickler on doing as much for themselves as possible, because if they loose it, they cannot get it back. I treat my clients as I would want to be treated, with respect, dignity, and compassion.
I have Patience and Compassion for seniors and gives me more understanding of what the person is going throug. Kindness and empathy attracts me of being a caregiver I enjoy doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. Every organization and families that I have work with do have trust in my services.

I am a mother of three grown daughter's and have four grandchildren. I enjoy the elderly they all have their own unique story and have learned a lot from my clients. I believe that they are the greatest generation Of the USA. I am a seasoned caregiver and have worked in many different situations.
I have been a CNA for 5 years. I have worked in a Nursing Home setting as well as Hospital, hospice and Rehabilitation along with Home Health. I started my journey taking care of my grandparents and then passed that honor onto a younger brother as I started school to become an administrator in a nursing home. My goal is still to become an administrator. I have my bachelor's and I'm working on my masters degree and a certificate at the same time. I am looking for something more personalised than a nursing home setting and would like to get back into home health.
Deeply committed to treating my elderly clients with dignity and respect, my goal is to win their trust and alleviate any embarrassment or anxiety they may feel when needing assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming or other personal care. I also excel at planning creative activities customized to my clientst needs and physical/mental abilities. It can be challenging at times, but I truly enjoy working with elderly residents. Though I strive to make a meaningful difference in their lives, the ongoing lessons I have learned from them have in return made a lasting impact in my life.
My name is Alison and I'm 19. I attend Rock Valley 3 days a week. Tuesday and Thursday I'm there 9-3 and Fridays 10:30-12:30. I'm looking for a care job because everyone deserves kindness and care regardless of age. My mom has cerebral palsy that has gotten worse with age I assist her on a daily basis with transportation, assist with mobility and must take one more housekeeping and cooking roles than most kids my age do. My dad is also legally blind and needs assistance reading things and transportation. I figured I've been doing these things all my life so why not do it as a job!?
