I love to work with individuals of all sorts. Listening to their stories makes me love my job. Also being there for someone who is in need also lightens me up every single day. My grandmother worked in this line of business for over 20+ years she has recently pasted away and that is what made me approach this and also appreciate it

I decided to work get my CNA certification after visiting my Grandma in a nursing home, I knew I wanted to help other elderly men and women with their Activities of daily living I wanted to show them I cared. I enjoy listening to their life stories and all the changes they have seen and lived through.I like to share these stories with other people and children as things come up in a conversation. I have learned many new things from working with Seniors and I have used many of their ideas in my life from cooking to raising children and house cleaning ideas. I am currently enrolled in a community college I plan on studying Phlebotomy, I have always taken courses over the years in continuing education and prerequisites to AAS.
Hello, I am Becca. I am married and 4 beautiful kids. I am a hard worker and very compassionate about my job. I am a great caregiver because I love taking care of people. It probably all started when I was about 13 years old and I took care of my great great aunt. I used to help my grandma ( which was a nurse) take care of my aunt. My grandma thought that I needed to take care of people when I was older since she told me that I was so good at it. So that's exactly what I have been doing. The most thing I like about being a caregiver is that the people I take of. I love hearing their stories and hearing about their life; it's so fascinating. My personal achievement is that I get along with the tougher clients ; when everyone else seems to think they are mean or hard to do; it seems like I can do it I love the challenge you could say.

I have always enjoy being around my grandparents and doing things for them in my younger years and after I graduated from high school I enter a tech college and became a CNA in nursing home from 1975 -1997. I was able to work in an Cedar Acres Adult Day Care from 1997-2001 when they closed their doors and was bought out by Lutheran Social Services 2001 until Oct.1 2014,and they decided to close. I truly enjoy working with this type of cliental. To come onto work to see them happy to see you as well as I am happy to see them and to do the best I can to make a difference in their day. I am a project orientated person. Love to work outside in my yard and to grow a flower garden. I love to jigsaw puzzles together . I love to read, especially" Old Time "and "Reminisce" magazine and be able to talk about some of the things they did. or how they handle the difficult things in their life.
