I became a caregiver because I love to help people.I enjoy the sense of accomplishment when someone tells me how much I have helped them. I am proud to say I have been a Certified Nurses Assistant for about 10 years .I am a people person that enjoys helping anyone in need of assistance.
I enjoy helping others. Being a caregiver is not the job if you plan to get rich quick. For me, caregiving is who I am; a nurturing personality. I am proud of being able to put calm in someone's day as their needs get met without them feeling they are a burden. I have been a caregiver since I was young like age 14 but, I did have other jobs to help pay the bills. I have had multiple background checks as well as having my finger prints on file with the FBI as to the various jobs I have had over the years.... a clean record!
I achieved my CNA during high school at a vocational school. I love to think that I am helping someone live a better life as they grow older. I am proud of reaching my goal of helping older adults as soon as I recieved my certificate. I have been working as a CNA for one year now. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family and playing softball.
I am a mother of three grown daughter's and have four grandchildren. I enjoy the elderly they all have their own unique story and have learned a lot from my clients. I believe that they are the greatest generation Of the USA. I am a seasoned caregiver and have worked in many different situations.
I have been a CNA for 5 years. I have worked in a Nursing Home setting as well as Hospital, hospice and Rehabilitation along with Home Health. I started my journey taking care of my grandparents and then passed that honor onto a younger brother as I started school to become an administrator in a nursing home. My goal is still to become an administrator. I have my bachelor's and I'm working on my masters degree and a certificate at the same time. I am looking for something more personalised than a nursing home setting and would like to get back into home health.
I am a nursing student at Lewis University. I am looking for summertime employment near my home in Rockton, IL. While I do not have my CNA or RN license yet, I have volunteer experience working with elderly, special needs, and cancer patients. I would love to gain experience in my field while assisting someone in need at the same time! I would love to use my time and skills to make a difference in someone's life. I enjoy jobs that offer one-on-one interactions, and I get along well with a variety of elders. I am a very flexible and outgoing person, and I would be dedicated to learning how to take the best care of anyone seeking assistance!
My name is Alison and I'm 19. I attend Rock Valley 3 days a week. Tuesday and Thursday I'm there 9-3 and Fridays 10:30-12:30. I'm looking for a care job because everyone deserves kindness and care regardless of age. My mom has cerebral palsy that has gotten worse with age I assist her on a daily basis with transportation, assist with mobility and must take one more housekeeping and cooking roles than most kids my age do. My dad is also legally blind and needs assistance reading things and transportation. I figured I've been doing these things all my life so why not do it as a job!?
