Being a caregiver is an absolute passion of mine. I love making someone's day a little easier and love seeing the smiles I get from my clients. When I leave at the end of a shift I know my clients have been given the absolute best care to the best of my ability and that's why I do what I do!

I enjoy almost everything about my job. I love fixing all of my ladies hair or helping them pick clothes out and painting their finger nails. I enjoy hearing all of their stories. I have been in healthcare for awhile now. I've worked with dementia patients, hospice patients, and most diseases or disabilities you can think of. Healthcare and assisting people in general has been what I've wanted to do since I was a child and I'm now fulfilling that dream. Taking care of those who once took care of us! My name is Margaret and Id like to tell you a little about myself. I've always been the type that enjoys helping others. I found it rewarding for the heart and soul. It really takes someone special to become a caregiver. Someone with a big heart who understands the trials and tribulations of someone who needs help in their daily lives. That can help through the good days and the bad days. At a young age my mother became ill and that's when I started to learn about caregiving. How to talk to someone who's having a hard time accepting help that's needed. How to bath and wash. Bathroom duties. Communication through all the things I do. I find it that talking to a client and really getting to know that person makes a major difference in how to handle their life with them. I'm not here to treat anyone like a dollar sign. I want to help make a difference or help ease the frustration of life as it comes. One of my proudest achievements in my life is finding God. And being a proud mother of two wonderful boys. I have met amazing people on my work as a caregiver. That's my goal in life is to help those that need someone.

I grew up taking care of my mother, and since then I knew that giving care to others would be fulfilling. I enjoy getting to know patients and connect with them and a great supporter.

I have been providing senior care for 20 years. I can provide toileting, bathing, dressing, feeding, preparing meals, light housekeeping, medication support, mobility assistance, grooming, laundry, running errands, companionship, and transportation. I love getting to know my clients. I've previously held a CNA and HHA license, but without a sponsoring agency, I couldn't keep them. I've been working privately for the last 2 years.
