I am a very caring person. I pay close attention to details. I love working with the elderly, listening to their stories and sharing mine. The elderly have some of the best stories and I love listening to them talk about their lives. I also like the satisfaction of knowing that I am helping someone. Personal achievement that I am proud of is that I went back to college when I was 40 and graduated Cum Laude. it was satisfying to know I accomplished this later in life and graduated with honors.

I am well experienced. I became a caregiver, more than twenty years ago, to give quality care to those in need. I enjoy meeting new people and listening to their stories. I have had Certified Nursing Assistant training, Direct Support Professional training, Qualified Medication Aide training, and am well read with experience as Physical Therapy Aide. As a caregiver, it is nice to have both a decent medical vocabulary and an interest in continuous learning about the functions of the human body.
I have had experience with a variety of clients and I am hoping to get to experience many more! I knew I wanted to be a caregiver when I saw my grandmother in a nursing home and realized that the importance of being in the comfort of your own home when you have health issue. Hello my name is kaytlynn, most of my friends call me Kayt(pronounced Kate). I have been a CNA for 3 going on 4 years, but before that i have taken care of my Mother since i was a teenager, she is completely deaf in one ear, and only has 10 percent hearing in the other, she has hearing aides , false teeth, arthritis, has had a double bypass, and a total hysterectomy, she has COPD, and blood cancer . She has this rare form of cancer where her RBC'S attack her WBC'S causing her health to be poor, he bones to be weak, and her blood to thicken like ketchup. She has to go bi-weekly, sometimes even weekly to have blood pumped off, so it doesn't thicken in her veins and arteries. Taken care of people in need comes natural to me , i have done it my whole life , and don't plan on changing that any time soon.
