I am a good listener and will double check to make sure that what is asked of me to do is correct. My past and present clients are and have given me great recommendations for my caring attitude. As a small girl, I always wanted to help the elderly and anyone less fortunate than me.I was raised by 2 very loving, church going parents. The most important thing I love about being a caregiver is the gratification of knowing that I am appreciated in my responsibilities. A personal achievement that I am very proud of is doing the smallest things to get that gratitude.
Skills & Certifications: Home Health Aide (HHA)
I became a CNA/caregiver/home health aide because I honestly believe in truly compassionate care for people in need whether is the geriatrics, pediatrics, or the mentally impaired or psych or a combination of all the above. I enjoy knowing that I have helped someone get through another day on this earth with their family and if they don't have any family at least they know someone was there for them when it was needed and proof that there are still nice, caring, and honest people out there.

I prefer 1 on 1 where I can give my undivided attention to the patient. I am currently doing housekeeping for few clients and would love to start giving care again.
I am a mother of 3 my oldest having type 1 diabetes. I grew up taking care of people. My grandfather, whom I lived with growing up was diagnosed with terminal cancer when I was 3. He had passed shortly after my 5th bday. There were nurses in and out and the entire family took short classes to provide daily care for him. I have wanted to become a nurse since then.
I enjoy helping others and putonghua a smile on their face. I like the fact that I get to help someone who wants to be here on this earth and is willing to help me help them. I am naturally personable , caring and very patient. When I first started at Twin Oaks I was nervous but I absolutely love the feeling of helping some one. They have taken care of us our whole lives; it's time to return the favor. I really enjoy talking with each person I meet and helping with anything they need. I have learned so much about the needs of others it actually helps in my own family.
