I believe that I am a good and efficient caregiver. I care for my client as if they were my godmother / grandfather or any blood-related family member and treat them with dignity and respect. I have the patience and reliance that this kind if job requires and I take pride in all the work I do. I take joy in assisting the less fortunate and Those whom are not as able-bodied.
I have been certified as a nurse assistant for 2 years. I've workers with seniors at a long term care facility, assisted living facility and rehab. I enjoy assisting and helping them with all their needs. I became a CNA because I love making a difference in someone's life. But most important I am very patient when it comes to assisting them with their activities of daily living
What make me a great care giver is that I am a good listener. That helps me to know the necessities/needs of the person and be able to adjust on how to provide help for each individual. Reason that I like to be a care giver is with my experience in the field I enjoy helping other with respect and honesty. What I like of being a care giver is that I like to help others and I like to be able to treat others as I will like to be treated. My grates achievement, is knowing that I raise my children to be a strong, hardworking, responsible individuals.
I have been a NA/CNA for 20 yrs now because I love caring for people. I enjoy seeing the people I care for progress in their recovery. Then by the time they are able to go home knowing that I was able to assist them and be part of their recovery journey is always wonderful. I've had many rewards throughout my 20 yrs as a caregiver. I am currently the outstanding employee of the month on unit at NKCH.
What makes me a great caregiver is that I love to help improve the daily lives of those whom cannot necessarily do it on their own, I fell in love with caregiving while I was taking care of my mother while she was in need. I like the idea of being needed in someone's life. And making the job more than just a paycheck I like to have a good connection with people that gets them comfortable with me.
I decided to become a caregiver because I always felt in my heart that I was put on this earth to care for others. Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to go to school to be a nurse but I found way regardless to help others. It's something that really fulfills my life, I love what I do and I would change it for anything.
What makes me a great care giver is I always put my residents needs first, I have compassion for my clients, and I make sure they are always as satisfied as can be. I became a caregiver because of my mother, who was in the profession for a few years and showed me how helping my elders is rewarding. The part of my career I enjoy the most is seeing my clients smile, and telling me about their lives. A personal achievement of mine is becoming responsible for my family, and still being able to work and go to school to sometime become a nurse.
I love working with people in need I like to take my time with them and try my best to meet there needs I would do anything just to see a smile on there face I treat them with great respect I see my grandmother in every single one of them she was my world this is why I was motivated to do this kind of work i don't like them to suffer so I try my hardest to please them and do all I can

I want to be a caregiver because in the future my dream is to be able to work with the geriatric population doing music therapy with them. Hello, I am a busy mom of two. I work in Oncology and love my job. I am passionate about oncology due to my grandma passing from it. I enjoy people and love to get to know them. I pride myself on doing the best I can and helping someone in need. I am looking to supplement my income due to my daughter making competitive cheerleading and it being very expensive. I am available after 5 any Mon-Fri and on weekends various hours. Please let me know if I can be of some help!
I'm a very patient person. I've had family members hospitalized and would spend most of my time in hospitals to help take care of my family members. This experience has attracted me to become a caregiver. I'd love to help others. I enjoy making people happy. The experience of getting to know the individual is just amazing to me. Helping others is my passion.
