I am deaf with cochlear implant, uses ASL (American Sign Language) and English. I am a college student attending HCC, I went to WSU Tech for 3 1/2 years and just now recently transferred to HCC. and I have a part time job where I work at is my favorite place to work and loving it everyday. I am very determined, honesty, team player, compassion, caring and loving the people I take care. I am friendly and always willing to cooperate with anything and are willing to work things out if it gets in the way. I am willing to work with the schedule way around it. I am a CNA and CMA at my job for almost 7 months now and I am certified CNA and CMA for a year now. I do have 3 certification is CNA, CMA, and Phlebotomist Tech. I am working on getting HHA certification then two degrees of Nursing; LPN and RN. Being a caregiver is my passion because I love taking care of people and give them the best care that they do deserve it! I enjoy go over and see them, checking in, help with anything they needed! I would DO ANYTHING to put a beautiful smile on their face. I love to cheer them up and make sure they are having a good day with a big smile on the face! My personal achievement I am proud of is that I have overcome ALOT of things in my life right now also with a bad childhood growing up but still fought through it! I am first high school graduate and first attending in college. I am a honor roll student throughout the years of high school and college. I have 3 certifications in medical field! My dream is to own a nursing home for Deaf & Hard of Hearing residents with D/HH workers that are able to uses sign language and make the environment comfortable and easier for each other!

I'm a new member of the Wichita community. My husband and I moved here from the Manhattan area where I worked as a para educator for 9 years. Needing a change, I worked toward my CNA,CMA, and HHA certifications. I have worked in Memory Care, Assisted Living, and Home Care and Hospice all of which I loved. I have an early work experience as an EMT,(no longer lisenced), and years in phlebotomy. I've also worked as a CNA in a surgical center in various areas of the building. I spent 1 1/2 years after we moved here, recovering from shoulder surgery and working in a preschool center while getting situated in our new to us house. We have two daughters, one is married with a 4 yr old and 8 month old and the other is a Jr in college at Bethel. I grew up a farm girl, spent valuable time with my grandparents, and have been involved in many activities myself and with our kids. My family has always come first and I have always worked jobs that would allow me to live and be in their moments as they were and are happening! We are total hands on grandparents to our grandchildren when needed and possible. I love flea markets, refurbishing furniture, I have my own picture painting site, yard sales, shopping, and being in our yard. My heart and soul are extremely down to earth and when I enter a clients home, they are what matters while I am there. Their comfort and happiness with my work, long after I leave, is important to me until I see them again.

I have been a CNA for 4 years and I love every moment of it. I love being able to help people when they are unable to fully achieve their daily lives and make it as easy as possible. I enjoy most seeing the smiles on people's faces and the happiness that comes from the little help I have done for them. I am very proud that I got my CNA and am about to start furthering my education even more.

Home Healthcare is my true passion. I have 25 years of Healthcare experience. I have been a licensed CNA and HHA for 22 years. I have taken care of patients with all disease processes specializing in Dementia and Alzheimer's. Many excellent references available.

I enjoy interacting with people of all ages and backgrounds. I follow two things in life: treat people the way you want to be treated and there is more happiness in giving than receiving. Your time & energy is one of the best gifts you can give others. I've worked full time for 30+ years in customer service both in banking and in an agricultural business. My first job though has always been a caregiver both as a mom and wife. I am a grandma now and love spending time with my grandkids. They make my heart happy! I also have aged parents and they are doing quite well for being in their late 80's. A big part of why they are doing so well is my siblings and I are still very active in their lives and spend time with them. My desire to become a caregiver is due to my husband's disability from a traumatic brain injury and the care he needs.
