I believe in caring for the patient as a whole, focusing on patient privacy, quality of care, comfort, and infection control. I am a dedicated employee and a team player who has earned employee of the month at every healthcare organization I have worked for so far. Working at a post surgical rehab facility in this dynamic city, I gained experience in caring for patients with diverse cultural and religious backgrounds, enabling me to cater to their individual needs. As you seek to employ a dedicated CNA, I am confident you will see that my qualifications match your goal. I am equipped with CNA2 training from PCC, clinical rotation at OHSU, and over a decade of experience in healthcare.
I am a very caring, passionate person! The PATIENT ALWAYS COMES FIRST! I have been taking care of patients for 8 years now! I am 61 years old and I am old school! I don't believe in rushing because that is when you make mistakes! Take your time with your patients and care for them like you would want to be cared for when you get older. Or if they were your loved one! Let them know that you can be trusted. Keep them safe and their home safe from falls. Wash their face, comb their hair, brush their teeth, etc....make them feel good and refreshed! Respect their religion and ask questions! Listen to them and pay attention to what they are telling you. Respect them and their home! I love helping others that have a hard time helping themselves. It's rewarding to me and it comes from my HEART! I have helped my whole family who have passed in their home with cancer, heart problems, Parkinson's disease, and not one went to a nursing home! This is why I became a CNA! It gave me such gratitude and made me feel good to see them smile at me everyday for making them feel good! When I walk through a patients front door I walk into Their home! With a smile on my face leaving my problems behind me! It's all about the PATIENT! The Patient Always Comes First!!
Hello, I'm Tamika I live in Hoyt, Kansas. I've been a Certified Nursing Assistant since 2014 in the state of Kansas. Previously, I was a Certified Nursing Assistant/Medication Aide in Nebraska started in 2011, before becoming certified in Kansas. I really enjoy working with patients/clients who need assistance with activities of daily living, whether its getting up and ready for the day, medication reminders, ambulation assistance, meal preparation, or just compainonship. I became a Certified Nursing Assistant because I enjoy making someones day bright by just a simple smile. I'm a single mom of a 4 year old boy. I work August through May as a Special Education Para with visually impaired children, for local school district.
I am from Lawrence, KS but currently followed my husband to Seattle for the summer for his architecture internship. I am looking for a part-time or full-time caregiver position during the weekdays. I absolutely love meeting people, learning their stories and spending time with them. I would have to say my strengths are patience, creativity, compassion and flexibility. I am currently a nursing student and have one more year left to complete. Additionally I have my CNA in the state of Kansas. I would love to help YOU out in anyway possible!
I'm reliable, caring , patient, honest, hardworking. I've been doing home care since 2010. I've worked with seniors as well as clients with disabilities. I enjoy caring and helping out. I find my job very rewarding and can't picture myself doing anything else. I enjoy the one on one care and gaining a relationship with my clients.
Becoming a caregiver has been a great experience for me. I have learned so much from working with seniors and the great stories and life advice I get has been what makes working as a CNA something I love to do. I'm reliable and very hard working, always ready for the day staying positive and having compassion for others. I have been working as a caregiver for 10 years and have worked in skilled nursing homes, rehab, home health and hospice. Able to help with personal hygiene, showers, getting ready in the morning or getting ready for bed. Transferring in and out of w/c, meal preparation, meal setup, medication reminders, transportation for errands or doctor visits. One on one companionship and help with daily needs.
I love working with a variety of different individuals. I've also had alot of training in the nursing field and am always looking for a position to further educate myself and always willing to learn new things. I'm proud of myself for completing the EMT course. The thing I like most about being a caregiver is knowing that I can make a change in someones life.
I have previously worked as a CNA in a nursing facility for over three years. My favorite part of this work was getting to build a relationship while assisting others live their best life. I am a reliable and hard worker who values helping others and making their life the best it can be. Through my experience I have worked with people with varying levels of care needed and I am great at adapting to my surroundings to best meet the needs of care required.
I am 19 years old and I've been a CNA since my junior year in high school. I was in the foster care system for most of my life and I've used my CNA license for every job I've ever had since I got it. So I have quite a bit of expirence. I've taken care of my grandmother for several years even as a child. I'm most certain she's the reason that I wanted to work in health care.
I became a Caregiver because I love to help people. After high school I will be attending Kansas Wesleyan University to study nursing. The thing I love most about being a Caregiver is that I get the chance to brighten someone's day every day, whether it be by playing a game of cards or just by keeping them company. I go into work every day with a smile on my face because I know I get to do what I love. I am currently attending Washburn Rural High School as a senior. I will be graduating in December and after that I plan to get some more work experience before heading off to college in the Fall of 2015. Some of my hobbies include: travel, softball, and board games. I volunteer a lot of my time tutoring in math and mentoring young softball players.
