I have always had a desire for helping people especially the elderly. It's been a very rewarding career choice that I have always enjoyed doing. Knowing that I can help promote a person's well being towards maintaining their independence is rewarding to me. When I worked with a dementia client, helped to recall some of her memories through writing and reading exercises. My sister had many health problems in which; I encouraged her through daily functions similar to what she would do at home, helped with her transition from home to nursing home. Also, when I received my certification in nursing. I am a christian, loving, caring, devoted, reliable, efficient, responsible and love unity of family. My hobbies are reading, walking, meditate, pray, visit the sick and shut in, movies, love to volunteer my time helping those in need. I am a non smoker, do not drink alcohol, don't do any type of drugs. I have excellent references.

Hello, My name is Ashley and I have worked in Healthcare for a wonderful twelve years. I obtained my Certified Nursing Assistant Certification when I was eighteen years old. I have always wanted to help people in any way that I possibly could. I wanted to work in Healthcare for a number of reasons, to name a few, I'd like to start with being influenced by my Aunts. One is a Nurse and my other Aunt was an EMT for the local ambulance service. I was raised by my grandmother and father and was taught morals of repect and caring. I like the feeling of being able to make a difference in someone's life either in Emergency situations or end of life care. From A to Z care is what I can provide for your loved one. I also have several certifications that is very beneficial to caring for your love one. I have my Cardiac Arrhythmia Certification (analyzing heart rhythms), CNA, Emergency Room Technician, EMT (5 years ago but not current), and BLS. I have worked in several nursing home settings, Hospital Floor settings (all areas of care), and 10 years experience Emergency Care. I have currently been off work for approximately one year and a half, after the birth of my daughter and I am looking to get back into what I know best without the long hospital hours. I love what I do and I would love to be part of your loved ones quality of life. Hope to hear from you soon. Have a wonderful day and thank you for your interest in my profile /resume.

I became a Caregiver thirteen years ago and I love making a difference in a person's life. I like being a caregiver and getting to know the clients and their families. I am proud of taking care of people and letting them know that they can depend on me. I use to work on a Oncology unit in a Hospital here in Marietta, Ga where I cared for a lot of chronically ill patients. I worked tirelessly making sure they were comfortable and not alone. The six years that I worked at this hospital gave me the experience and skills I needed to be able to care for individuals in their homes. I was born in West Virginia but was raised in Ohio. I moved to Austell Ga in 1986 and eventually moved to Powder Springs In 2011. To me there is nothing more fulfilling than being a caregiver because I am able to give of myself and give the best care that I can.

My name is Jessica and I am currently a pre-med student taking a gap year while applying for school next fall. I've spent the last three years since graduating High School travelling and working in different states & countries to learn more about health and different cultures. Since I was in elementary school though, I have always had a passion for volunteering and serving with older people both personally and in Nursing homes. As the oldest sibling of seven kids and 3 dogs, helping out around the house (with cleaning, cooking, running errands and everything in between) I'm no stranger to hard hands-on work and love being engaged in personal development with others. I have a wide range of work experience from Vanderbilt Medical centre hospital, Girl Scouts of America, food services, cleaning, and private companies in the Nashville area. Having just gotten back from spending an extended period with my Grandmother, I want to continue learning and being of service to a family looking for an extra hand with their ageing family members. Currently, I live in Goodlettsville and am looking to stay in the mid to northeast area of town. I'm available every day except for Sundays, August 25th, October 6th, November 3rd, and December 1st - as for the Christmas holiday I may have plans to be out of town for the last 2-3 weeks of December. My preference for work would be mid-morning to afternoons but am open to discussing personalized schedules depending on needs.

I retired in 2014. I loved my job and my patients, but the drive to and from Nashville became so time consuming on top of a 10 hour day. I volunteer at the hospital because I really enjoy helping patients and missed being in the medical field. I received an award at my job for being an outstanding caregiver. I really love caring for people.
