I have the patience of the biblical Job or close to it. I have not been paid for any care giving that I have done. It was for my parents back in 2011 - 2012. - - - R. W. 'Wayne' Frazier
Hi I'm Allison, I'm a very fun loving, caring, responsible and trustworthy person... which is the reason I thought about being a caregiver. Also my grandma was a caregiver for over 8 years for an elderly woman with dementia and I was around enough to see how much of a positive impact my grandma had on that woman's life and I want to be a part of something like that.
What attracted me to being an caregiver is I have always care for the elderly. You will always learn something new from them. A lot of the elderly don't have family or people that can come visit them. I love to sit and talk with them and to listen to them. It's things that they can longer do for themselves and I feel so helpful when I can help them with what they just can't do anymore.
I have enjoyed my job and helping other for over 20yrs.I treat others love ones as I would my own.It is hard to be able to trust your love ones with someone else.So I try to reassure them that their family are in good hands.God had Blessed me to continue to do the work that I love. And going to do my best.
When I first became a caregiver I was 18 years old and now I'm 20. I have learned so much and I am so proud of myself because I did something that caused me to step out my comfort zone. I enjoy seeing the smiles and talking to the consumers, the stories they tell are just so heart warming. I first became a caregiver because I thought it was a easy job but now it's so much more it's good for them the consumers to know that they have a listening ear and someone they can call on. The things that help me be a great caregiver is that I'm always on time, I'm always right beside the consumer, I'm always there to take care and no one will ever have to worry about anything happening. I've omg been doing this for two year but in those two year I've learned so much and I'm ready to learn more. I am CPR certified, I know what to if someone is have a seizure, and I know if someone has had a stroke.
My name is Jessica Williams I was introduced to this field little over a year and half ago..I immediately feel in love with my clients. Such Joy entered their faces when you wake them up with sweet smile and talk sweet to them..I worked with mentally and physically handicapped ladies, they were all on different levels.... teaching them that they CAN do things on there own.i wasn't there just for a paycheck these ladies became my family..even though it was my job to take care of them it was just like taking care of my mom, my aunt, my grandmother etc. I was there to improve their quality of life..make them want to get out of bed and see what the day brought
I am a great care giver because I treat the individual(s) like they are of my own family. I am a firm believer of treating others how you want to be treated. I became a care giver because it provides such an awarding feeling that I am proud of, it builds my character, and I feel accomplished. I enjoy being a caregiver because I am able to care for someone who needs it and that makes a difference. A personal achievement that I am very proud of is making someone smile. That may not seem like much, but it really is! When someone is happy to see you, you can achieve so much in the time allowed, and that will always melt my heart!

My name is Brian and I can trace my history in the medical field back into the early 90's when I was in the United States Air Force. I have worked as a Paramedic, General Manager, Education Director, Pastor, Youth Pastor and general help. I no longer have any of my licenses because I was involved in an accident in 2009 that left me unable to work in my field. It took me a few years to be able to walk and care for myself but if you met me you would not know I was ever disabled. For this reason I can assist but can not totally carry or move patients by themselves
I became a caregiver due to the fact my Grandfather had Dementia and had to be placed in a Nursing home facility where he recieved terrible care. So I know the importance in having a love one home in a safe environment, where he or she could have the relationship with his or her family sourrounding them with love. I have a compassion for the Elderly
