I assisted my mother in taking care of my grandmother up until her last day while being on hospice. I obtained my CNA liscense shortly after and began to share that compassion with others in honor of my grandmother. I also have 2+ years of experience in assisted living and in home care

I am hoping to start nursing school fall 2017 and would prefer to work overnight Monday thru Wednesday or Thursday but I have open availability and flexibility with my schedule. My personal achievements that I'm honestly most proud of are my children. I am a Certified Nursing Assitant and Cettified Medication Technician through the Maryland Board of Nursing. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.

I decided to become a caregiver about 12 years ago while caring for my 86 year old father. He had several medical issuses some include... COPD, seizures, stoke dementia etc. After his passing i realize how important it was to able to care for those who are unable to care for themselves. I also realize we may all be face with the need of someone to assist us with ADLs, errands and so forth one day. It brings me joy knowing I've helped someone continue to enjoy a quality life despite their limitation. I currently hold a CNA certification I'm a easy-going, compassionate, funloving a little quite at times self motivated and a serious minded female.
