I assisted my mother in taking care of my grandmother up until her last day while being on hospice. I became a caregiver because I believe it is in my nature and I am compassionate about helping others. I like being a caregiver because no matter how hard I may work or how my day is going, it doesn't feel like work. I would like to help others by doing what I like. I am a mother of four, very energetic and friendly. I recently left my position full time for a major dialysis company in downtown Baltimore and have been in healthcare for a while and started working for Catholic Charities in May 2017, part time on the weekends. I am hoping to start nursing school fall 2017 and would prefer to work overnight Monday thru Wednesday or Thursday but I have open availability and flexibility with my schedule. My personal achievements that I'm honestly most proud of are my children. I am a Certified Nursing Assitant and Cettified Medication Technician through the Maryland Board of Nursing. I am also CPR and First Aid certified.

I'm a person that likes to help others, I'm someone that is compassionate, quick learner, dependable, and caring. I got in this field because of my great grandmother and grandmother, taking care of them showed me that this is what I wanted to do. To help people, to make them feel good and help them with they daily routine. My goal right now is to finish my studies and become a register nurse.

I am a great caregiver who works without supervision and always following the activities of the client as listed. I got attracted to caregiver because when I started the job newly, I worked for loving family who as their caregiver they also care about my two boys and this made me see my clients and their family as my own family too. I love to make sure my clients are clean, well fed and their medicines taken as needed. I like to give my client treat on their birthday and on any celebrated days. Which put smiles on their faces.
