I am a very caring and patient person, I feel these are very important traits to have when providing care for others. I have worked in residential care, home care, field part-time for many years. I was a supervisor at a Traumatic Brain Injury Institute for a number of years. I have a number of family members that have worked in the Home Care business for many years. Several of my family members that worked as Health Care Aides furthered their education to become nurses. I truly enjoy helping those in need, it give me great joy to be able to make a difference in someones life. I look forward to caring for you or your loved one.
I am a married 54 year old woman with three grown daughter's and 6 grandchildren of my own and 2 step children and 3 grandchildren. I have had several clients that I have been assisting. I also took care of my mother and father towards the end of their lives. I am a very compassionate caring individual. I enjoy being able to assist people in need. I have a client at this time that I take shopping and to her doctor appointments. I sort her meds for her so that she gets what she needs on a daily basis. I habe a huge heart and a lot of love to share. There are not enough caring compassionate loving people out there to be with our senior adults. I have taken several courses to better myself for the best Adult care services possible.
My personal philosophy is to leave people in a better mood than when they first met me. I like to leave a memorable impression on others. I am a very compassionate and dedicated person, while also being professional. I have been a caregiver for two years at a assisted living. Often hired for personal care by families within. I absolutely love helping others. I have experience with hospice care and medications along with dementia and cerebral injuries, stroke, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and Alzheimer's patients. I would love to help in anyway I can.
I'm a great caregiver as long as my client is happy and smiling, if not there something I have to do to make them better, I became a caregiver because I love having the ability to help others as much as I can in any way possible, and I am a reliable person, a caring and trustworthy person that is here to help !
I'm a great caregiver, because of my compassion for people, especially senior care, developmentally disabled, those who can't speak for themselves, both verbally or non-verbally, being a voice. I've always been attracted to caregiving from a young child. Since caring for both parents, and family members. I enjoy being a part of helping others have a quality of life, through love, care and spiritual enlightenment that they otherwise may not have access to. It is a blessing to help others have an extended quality of life, that may not have otherwise been realized.
What makes me a great caregiver is how I treat people with the respect and love they deserve. What attracted me to being a caregiver is my mom, i watched other people take care of her so I wanted to give the same love back to others who are in need. What I mostly enjoy about being a caregiver is helping people. A personal achievement I am proud of is how many people I've helped in my lifetime with my caregiving career:)
