I started my career of caregiving In 1983 where I provided in home care for an elderly lady for 18 months. In 1984 I worked for Minnesota DHS with developmentally disabled persons. In 1989 I began working for the Minnesota DOC until I retired in 2020. I love to help people achieve their goals and I really enjoy seeing people happy. I am currently teaching myself some wood working, furniture refinishing and some art.

I consider myself to be a neutering human being, I have great care giver qualities that allow me to connect with my patients on a deeper level. This gives them something to look forward to doing daily activities that were once boring into something enjoyable with me. When i was still in high school, I was really intrigued by phycology. I did allot of research on the human brain and how the human mind works and the human differences within perspectives from an healthy mind to an and mentally Ill mind. This allowed me to understand everyone around me and brought allot of peace within me knowing why humans acted the way they did. I then knew I wanted to be a caregiver with everyone around me who had any type of mental illness. I enjoy being the light of a human being who doesn't see any light due to the circumstances in which they live in. A personal achievement I am proud of, is getting through allot of stages in my life in which I felt lost and down. and guiding myself through these difficulties in life. I am also proud of the woman I am becoming and I am proud to say I know what I want out of this life and I am proud to say I find a purpose in everything my life journey brings me.

My name is Miskiy Osman. A few traits that I embody that makes me a great fit as a caregiver would be the fact that I am a mother of 4 lovely kids. And a granddaughter of a lovely elder women. As their primary caregiver I have developed essential trait skills. Such as being patient even when difficult and one would rather meltdown. I also am a certified CNA in the state of Minnesota for 6 years and currently reactivating my CNA in Washington state. Over the years I have developed a beautiful connection with caregiving as it has shown me the beautiful stages of life. From young babies and toddlers to teenagers and elder folks. I have a firsthand experience in seeing how others view the world whether it be a child or grown folks who are of my parents and grandparents age. I am mostly proud of the assistance that I am able to provide and would like to continue.

Hi,my name is Gamada. I have been caregiver for the last 8 Year's I loved it in the beginning and I still love it. one day I want to open my own adult family home. I have experience and right training. I use to work in the hospital as a cook for patients when I was in Minnesota and from there I start caring more and more for the patients even though I am just making food but it's beyond making food, I am making a difference in their daily lives and that's when I decided to become a care giver and I love helping people from young to elderly. it's some thing that I am proud of doing.

My Name is Mary Kamara a cheerful and loving care giver. I have been in this profession since 2007. Am also a mother of three grownup kids and my middle kid an active marine who has served for 12 years now. He liked the way I did my job, go to school and take care of my home with my mom and grand baby. Am now taking a break from school after gtraduating in 2019. I like care giving especially to our seniors because they have served us when they were young and now is the time for us to serve them. I like shearing with them old stories of their past and important dates in their lives they never forget to celebrate. I am also a good listener and compassionate caregiver who goes an extra mile to make sure my job is done well. I am punctual and dependable. I love when i give care and my patient says thank you. I really appreciate that. Am a loved care giver, most of my patients love me and want only me to be visiting them to give cares always after they have known me. I have gone to school to be a Trained Medication Aide and also a Medical Assistant, but came back to do care giving because I love and appreciate the care giving job because I meet one on one with different people for the longest of time than the other jobs. I'm a great caregiver because I am very patient and a warm-hearted person, I always make sure my patient/resident is safe and that they are happy with their service. I started working as a caregiver really young at 15 with my great grandmother she was a diabetic and had Alzheimer's. After she passed away it made me realize that I loved my job and that I'd be a great caregiver. One of my personal biggest achievements was moving out of my parents house right after graduation into my own place.
