I love helping people. I enjoy making people feel better about themselves and assisting in things that I can assist with. I care about the wellbeing of people and if someone needs help and I have the ability to I will help. As a kid I was in treatment facilities for some things I was going through a and I had staff that inspired me to help people in need. They made my life in those places worth while and since I've had those positive experiences I've wanted to become a caregiver. When I started caregiving as a job it helped me to appreciate more simple things in life and become even more compassionate and empathetic. I enjoy caregiving and if I had to choose any job it would be in caregiving due to the rewarding feeling and help I know I can give to those in need.

I believe I am a great caregiver because I genuinely care for the people I take care of and treat them as if they were my own family. I want them to be happy when they see me and be able to confidently say I take good care of them. A few years ago, I never saw myself doing this type of work whatsoever. I honestly really needed a job and a local nursing home hired me and took me through classes to get certified! I found myself there for over a year and I knew almost everyone by name on all of the halls. I had a special bond with one lady in particular and she always loved seeing me come into her room. She always made sure to tell me how good I'm doing. Overall, just knowing I am helping those who cannot help themselves gives me some sense of purpose and it makes me feel good. You get close to the people you take care of and they become like a grandma or grandpa to you. My favorite part about having a little extra time and sitting down to talk to some of the residents. I'm fascinated by what things were like 50+ years ago and hearing all about their life and experiences. I also enjoy looking at pictures with them. Every single one of them have different quarks and personalities and it's so fun talking to some of them. I am most proud of the way I can confidently say that I take GOOD care of my residents and that I do it for more than just a check. If I can go home with a clear mind and know for sure I did the best of my ability, I know I'm doing something right. I care for them like I would want someone to care for my mom or grandparents.

I'm a very loving caring happy friendly outgoing caregiver. That I feel is my calling and I am very passionate about what I do. I have never gotten a bad experience. and nothing is to much I can't handle. the thing I enjoy the most is giving my clients happiness! One of my personal achievement is I was the only person she would do anything for like exercise and she went from bed bound to walking again.

My name is Brianna Weppner. I am a 20 year old outgoing and friendly person. I have a 5 month old daughter, and 2 sons, ages 7 and almost 6. I do believe i would be an excellent caregiver, as I took care of my 70 year old grandmother months before she passed, plus my children. I really have always wanted to be a caregiver to help elderly people, or even younger people in their times of need. I watched my grandmother struggle for almost 10 years and I realized how helpful I really was when she needed something she could no longer get to. I have always wanted to do something like this because I know one day i will be searching for someone to take care of me. I enjoy the fact that i get to help someone out, that i get to put a smile on someones face by just completing a small task for them. I enjoy helping others because I know if they were able, they wouldnt have to ask for help, as well as, some people are very stubborn and would rather try to do it themselves rather than asking for help. I am very proud of the fact that I like to help others, just the most simple little thing could make someones whole day/week the best theyve ever had. I love being able to sit and talk about life and things they have done or would like to do in their life. I am a person who just loves to talk to someone other than my kids, while also helping with the things they need done.

Hi! I'm Alicia a 35 year old mother of one 8 year old boy. I have been doing home health care since right out of high school in 2005. Worked at a couple nursing homes and mainly done independent care of loved ones. My mother being one. She struggled with lung cancer in 2014 and I was by her side helping with all the day to day things needed. She sadly lost her battle in 2015. She taught me to always have a listening ear, an open heart and an understanding soul. To help when and where help is needed. And never forget that tomorrow is not promised. The ability to bring a smile to another is the greatest feeling of all to me!! I am dedicated to hardwork, going that extra mile and to never giving up!! I'm up for any job there's none to small or to big. I love learning new things and the feeling of being needed.
