Hi, my name is Autumn McClendon and I always had for helping people in need. What made me start wanting to help seniors was when my grandmother fell very ill to cancer back in 2006. Ever since then she has made constant trips to the hospital because other health issues with her heart. My cousin and I try to cook healthy meals for our grandmother and make sure she goes to all of her appointments. This is a good example of why I would be a perfect match for this job. I am fully capable of making sure each client has taken his or medication, making sure they eat, helping the clients get dressed, bathing them, and most important making sure each client is enjoying their day.

My personality is basic I love people and value their lives and I work very hard to assist and provide quality services for all my clients and their families. My attraction to client services started when my mother needed care in 2018 I stepped in for my family and provided care for her until she passed away. I enjoy caring for my clients as it's a very important and rewarding job. Personal achievements are the love that I receive from all of my clients that let's me know that I'm doing a great job in caring for them and the acknowledgment from the families that see my work and appreciate it.

I'm a great caregiver. I'm a CNA and have had my license for 13 yrs. I have been working in this field for over 20 years. I love and enjoy helping others and taking care of them. Being a caregiver is something that I decided to do at the age of 14. When I was younger I always spent time with my grandmother cooking, baking, playing games and loved every minute of it! What I love most about being a caregiver is getting to know more about the client and childhood stories. I'm proud to say I will be starting nursing school soon and one thing about me is I never meet a stranger. I'm easy going friendly and can hold a conversation with anyone!

I started in 1992 working at an assisted living My Mother got me the job , needless to say I didnt expect it to be my life calling , after working 3 yrs with my Mom, she was tragically killed on her way to work , so for the next 20 yrs I work in the home to follow in her footsteps, I have a love and a passion for the work I do . I have a lot of patients with my residents. I have a lot of compassion and understanding for them. I treat them like they are family. The reason for me being a caregiver is because of my grandparents. Im very proud to be a caregiver I enjoy it and love getting to know what they did in life.

I became a Caregiver because it's always been in my nature to help people. I knew when I was very young that I specifically wanted to work with the older population. I enjoy my job because it allows me to interact with my residents/patients, I learn about them and their lives, and most importantly I get to help them, and I personally love it. Recently, I had a group of CNA students who we're shadowing me. When their clinicals were done, they all got together and got me a card saying how appreciative they were for all my help. I took that to heart because it made me feel like I helped them by showing them the proper protocol to giving great patient care. I'm a 22 year old mother of a very energetic 2 year old. As all of my jobs have required working with the general public, I'm a huge people person and I get along with just about any and everyone. I love cooking, reading, sudoku puzzles, and planting different flowers, vegetables, and herbs.
