I grew up in the health care field with a mother as a nurse. I always was and will be fascinated by the medical field and how the body works and can be healed, both on it's own and by assistance. I have spent 15 years in the 911 system running emergency calls. I have seen all there is to see and treated every type of patient there is to be treated. One the that hit me is that I would pick up patients with home assistance that were negligent and caused in some cases the family to lose their loved one too soon. I want to use my knowledge and experience to provide a higher level of care and to show that their are compassionate people that can understand what it's like to be terminally I'll and not be that way themselves, but by learning through experience and interaction. A personal achievement I suppose I would have to say is that the first year I was a paramedic I was recognized by the state with an award for a Cardiac patient I treated on the ambulance and from being in complete cardiac arrest to going home a week later. I was also given an award by Pafford the first year I worked there called Lifesaver of the Year for the treatment of my patients. It showed me that my belief of treating every patient as if they were my own family paid off.

I took care of my grandmother and my mother in law . when my family wanted to put my granny in a nursing home i moved in with her to make sure she had the proper care and the same applied with my mother in law which she had cancer . i found joy and love in what i did and i would do the same for other. fixing meals three times a day ,snack, and making sure they had their bath and meds on time. later on after their passing my mom had two strokes and i took care of her and made sure she had her meds and making sure she had around the clock care

*My Adaptability and my patience is what ultimately help me become a good caregiver * One of the main things that attracted me to become a caregiver was to be there for older patients because some patients don't have the access to take good care of themselves due to a lot of factors * There's quite a few reasons that attracted me to become a caregiver one of the main reasons was to be able to help people and during this period I've learned a lot I became a better cook and peoples person etc...during this process *One thing I enjoy the most about being a caregiver is working one-on-one with people who genuinely needs help. * There's a few achievements I'm proud of but if I had to choose I'd choose my relationship with Jesus Christ
