Graduating from LVN school next month. Looking for work that further my experience with nursing until I take nclex

I enjoy working with the Elderly, they are family to me! I will make sure I give them the best care all the time. To me it's not a "Job" it's more than that. I am not a CNA, I am a Medical Assistant. I have worked as a Caregiver in the past at a nursing hone and with other Caregivers Companies. My available schedule for now is 9am to 430pm. Monday through Friday. In the afternoon 7pm through 7am. May be available some weekends.

I've been a caregiver for 35 yrs. I started in this field when I was just 17. I love what I do. I come from a medical family and decided at a very young age that I wanted to be a doctor or nurse. I specialize in geriatric dementia and Alzheimers care. Every client needs to know they're truly cared for on every level with love, patience, and kindness. I enjoy learning from them ... they often have amazing histories, stories and lessons to share.I'm often with my clients for the duration of their lives.

I've always had a heart for caring for others. It is such a wonderful feeling knowing I can be of help to those of need. I have 10yrs of experience in the medical field. I've started with helping my grandmother as a little girl such as brushing her hair on a daily, picking out her clothes, to then giving her, her medications. I cared for several other family members until I decided to then move on to working in a doctor's office as a medical/billing assistant which included me rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting the doctor's, submitting billing, and most importantly building friendly and trusting relationships. I'm now in the field working one on one with individual clients, being able to give my full undivided attention to make sure I care for all needs required as well as giving that security and confidence that they are in good hands.

I had a grandfather and a brother in law that were sick. I took care of them. After my dad passed away I decided I will be a caregiver because I know there many people out there that need care. I'm patient, kind and understanding when it comes to my patient i treat them how they deserve to be treated. If any one need help I'm glad to help out.

I am proficient in basic skills: personal hygiene like showers/bath, oral care, toileting, back-rub, dressing; Assists in activities of daily living such as serving & feeding, ambulating, positioning, transferring, administer meds & nutritional supplements, dressings surgical prep; Do & record vital sign: blood pressure, weight, pulse, temperature, finger pricking for sugar levels in diabetics; Measure & record food & liquid intake, urinary & fecal output and report changes. Encourage patient to exercise. Review & ask dietary restrictions, preferences, & allergies. Change bed linens, replace trash bags. Always check expiration of food & medicines. Know vital information about patient's condition, treatment plan & any suggested activity.. In a capsule, it is very important to respond immediately to patient's call for assistance and/or treatment with the goal of creating a safe, effective environment to make a difference in the lives of the patient & their families. Patience is a virtue inherent in me. I always work above & beyond my duty for the comfort & safety of my patients. I would be very glad to be of service as I have an extensive experience in the medical field.

Hello folks I am spry for my tough 50 yrs and have a great deal of life experience. I'm a talkative introvert that loves GOD the Most High. HE comes first always. My original roots started in Southern California I am here again changing my destiny by the will of GOD. I am a studious ambitious tidy artist healthy woman who had the pleasure of raising sons in Northern California. I started caregiving in 2000 because it was GOD's will for me to do so. I have a genuine compassionate nature. I am naturally helpful and innovative because GOD made me that way. I prefer a no non-sense trustworthy approach to getting things done. I'm very open to doing new things, I love to help others and having fun. A few things that attached me to becoming a caregiver was this amazing lady I used to care for back when I was still in highschool, it wasn't a job I wasn't getting paid for it but I loved caring for her and making sure she felt safe, after that bond and experience, I wanted to continue with this line of work.
