I've been in the medical field for over 13+ years and I absolutely love it. I started in the medical field right out of High School and I'm currently attending school to receive my Bachelors Degree in Health Care Management. I became a caregiver to help others in their time in need, its fullfilling knowing that i can help someone, even if its just to sit and lend a ear to them. The best part of being a caregiver is seeing the smiles on my clients faces, knowing that i did something good for him/her. I became a caregiver because I love the work with the elderly. I am outgoing and friendly, a great companion. I am proud that I take good care of the people I am with. I make sure they get good nutrition, don't fall, don't get bed sores; I always do my best to give the best care possible. I have lots of experience, even with hospice work, hoyer lifts, feeding tubes, etc. I also work well with people with demensia.

Helping people has been a passion of mine for many years. My mother was diagnosed with a neurological disorder when I was three. For many years, I was her primary caregiver and watched her struggle with chronic pain. I started realizing that the basic stretches and exercises I was doing in ballet class could help her regain some of her strength and alleviate some of the pain she was experiencing. After doing this for many years, I also realized that what I was doing may be able to help the over 100 million Americans living with chronic pain. So, a few years ago I put all of the basic stretches, exercises, and ballet moves into a class format and began teaching. I started locally at nursing homes, schools, and children's hospitals. Then I quickly began expanding the program, teaching my Dancing Through the Pain classes all over the United States and becoming an ambassador and spokesperson for the U.S. Pain Foundation. I would love to be able to help you or your family member just like I helped my own family through times of trouble!

I would say that I have inherited my mother's and my grandmother's unique personalities of calmness, patience, compassion, love and respect for the dignity of an individual. I was raised by 4 great people-my Mom& Dad, my Grandma& Grandpa- who have handed-down these good traits to me that makes me a great caregiver. I believe that I have a high EQ -emotional quotient and at the same time I have a superior IQ and I have the skill set, self-confidence, education and great communication skills to excellently do my job as a caregiver. My achievements- I have taken care of 28 mentally challenged elderly people in a licensed facility in Morgan Hill for 7 years. When I moved down to S. CA, I took care of 3 elderly patients (79 yo lady with stroke, 72 yo lady with cervical cancer and a 101 yo vet of WW2 of the US Air Force) I believe that my great achievements are: Modesty aside, I believe that I could be a Hall of Famer in The Holy Eyes of The Almighty God Above for giving special care for the special people I mentioned above. I am a hard and a smart worker. I am an honest, patient, calm, responsible, respectful and knowledgeable worker. I am a motivator, a peacemaker. I consider my patients as my family. I work from my heart. To be liked and loved by my patients and their families, and to serve them with all my heart are my greatest achievements!

My work experience as a Senior Trauma Tech in the hospital Emergency Room for more than 20 years has transformed my life simply into saving lives and caring for sick patients. It has become my second nature to care for life. I have the compassion, patience, respect for sick patients, and knowledge to take care and help patients. I would say that my personal achievement is having the 20 plus years loyalty working in the patient care field and I still want to do it.
