I have been helping seniors with daily living tasks for over 12 years now and I find helping others live happy, healthy, and comfortable lives is the most fulfilling work I've ever done. My family has been caring for families since I was 5 years old. When I was 22 I began working with my mother who has a background in nursing. We provided 24hr/7days per week care for a family friend, and I have helped several other families since, averaging 2 years with every client. I find that my height and strength are valuable assets in my field, especially when transfers and assistance transfering are required. My greatest happiness comes when I'm able to help people still go out and live exciting lives as well as be able to live comfortably at home without having move into convalescent homes.

Hello! My name is Jonathan. My life's passion and career choice since I was 18 years old was in the Gerontology field. What drew me most was listening each resident's story and reminiscing with them. Using this information, it will allow you to fully understand their needs, how to communicate (both verbal and non-verbal) and how you can manage and redirect any behaviors like sundowning. Not only am I an expert in dementia but I understand other physical depression, loneliness/isolation, grieving the loss of spouse, lack of exercise, balance and mobility, lack of mental stimulation, poor diet, dehydration, & even prescription drug abuse. I am comfortable in providing all care such as: bathing, dressing, medication management, help with eating, transferring and more. I have a complex understanding of the aging process and can provide care up until end of life. I am comfortable in providing assistance with all activities of daily life in a manner that is respectful and with dignity. On bathing/showering, I can provide stand by or full assist which is an easy and safe solution if you are considered about female only or male only.
