Hello, My name is Michelle Green; I’m a 42 year old married mother of two. I have about five years experience working for agencys (Senior Helpers),(Visting Angels) working directly with clients proving in home care and assistance of their daily needs and providing them with a better quality of life to stay independent and happy as long as they were able. When my clients reached the point of needing full time nurshing care they where sent to nurshing homes. I was hired as a PRN at New Tampa Surgery Center. I was employed there for about six months while my co- worker was out on maternity leave. When she returned there was not enough hours to cover the both of us. I,m now seeking a opportunity to work for someone as a private indivdual. Being a care giver has been my life passion. I love people! And I love giving seniors an opportunity to feel safe, secure in the comfort of there own home. I,m a CNA and received my state certification as well as completing a CPR, First Aid, Med Tech, TB, HEP Virus, PPD, Dementia Care Specialist Training and background screenings. I am now in pursuit of a job opportunity to utilize my skills and aptitudes I have acquired. I’m a very positive, mature individual with strong work ethics, adapting well to any work environment. Thank you, for your consideration. Michelle Green

I love to listen & learn from elderly people. They have so much wisdom & have lived interesting lives & I love to listen to those experiences. Once I had my back injury & could no longer work 10-12 hr. shifts I looked for a second career. A friend was doing Home Health Care for a Ms. Helen over the Christmas season & needed time off to be with her family. I was to fill in for 10 days but ended up staying for 4 years until I moved to Florida. I love working 1 on 1 with a person & their family. It is a joy to see them make little improvements along the way or just a big smile or thank you for making their favorite food or meal. My personal achievement is knowing I gave 100% to my client & treated them like a family member. All my clients have been females & I treated them the same as I would treat my Mom. Each unique in their own way, a real person with feelings & emotions & always caring about their dignity & appearance. Clean & ready every day to accept a friend stopping in for tea.

Hi, my name is Katie and I have been a caregiver for over 20 yrs. There has never been a time in all those yrs that I wished for a different job. I do my very best to accommodate all my clients in my care, especially the ones that still live at home, because seniors tend to do better in their own environment with one on one help. I encourage daily activities, including light exercise if allowed, along with walks and any social activities they want to attend. I am a firm believer in that if we keep our minds and bodies as active as allowed in life we don't have time to think about all the aches and pains. My mother is a good example of just that, staying busy at 87 and she has numerous health issues. I feel what makes me a good caregiver is that, I let my clients know that they can always call me anytime and if I am free and they need something or just need someone to talk to I will be there them. My biggest accomplishment in life was receiving my 4 year Bachelor's degree in Nursing at the age of 50. In all my years of going to school, which I did not do good in, I never thought it would have been possible especially with my grades. I started with courses like medical terminology and recieved all A'S, the feeling inside of me that I could get all A's was so fantastic that I keep going and didn't stop until I received my Nursing degree. But, when all was said and done it turns out that being a caregiver has given me more satisfaction in helping people than being a nurse could ever do for me including making me a better person and caregiver. I will always try to make my clients happy, comfortable and respect their wishes. I treat each and every client the same as I would expect my parents to be treated, with kindness, compassion, understanding, patience and most of all being respectful. I hope I have the opportunity to help your loved one, or yourself in all your care needs. kathyotolle@gmail.com
