I enjoy interacting with people of all ages and backgrounds. I follow two things in life: treat people the way you want to be treated and there is more happiness in giving than receiving. Your time & energy is one of the best gifts you can give others. I've worked full time for 30+ years in customer service both in banking and in an agricultural business. My first job though has always been a caregiver both as a mom and wife. I am a grandma now and love spending time with my grandkids. They make my heart happy! I also have aged parents and they are doing quite well for being in their late 80's. A big part of why they are doing so well is my siblings and I are still very active in their lives and spend time with them. My desire to become a caregiver is due to my husband's disability from a traumatic brain injury and the care he needs.

I love growing bonds with people what made me a caregiver was when I started doing daycare and then worked at a group home since I was 17 and I've been doing it since then. I love playing music with clients dance to it or cook together. The moment I teach my non verbal client some signs she's been good since then. Just so you guys know I'm deaf but can read lips :)
