My name is Alise Im 32 I have been doing nursing ever since I got out of high school. I just love to take care of other and to help where I am needed. I have worked in nursing home and private duties for some yrs now.

I get along with anyone and everyone. I was attracted to become a caregiver when I was needed to help care for a few family members and I grew to love it. I enjoy being there to help in any way shape or form that I am needed. I am proud of being who I am an love that fact that I can share the love by helping others.

As a long term caregiver, I am not only very loving and genuine, but I believe that entering into a career choice such as caregiving should be something that one is passionate about. I myself have grown up with family who have selflessly given their time, love and attention to others. I have a natural gift of helping and serving. I would never choose to care for people for just monetary purposes. I have helped care for people since I was a teenager, helping my mom with her clients. I honestly love to serve. I feel fulfilled knowing that I'm able to assist somebody. Being needed is my joy. It motivates me. I care about people's wellbeing as if they are my own family. I have served with a wide variety of people over the last 15 years. I worked in assited facilities, live-in care, and daily care. I have an extensive history with serving elderly and I love what I do. I am very easy to work with. I go above and beyond for people. I dont mind working long hours to help however I can. I look at caregiving as a lifestyle I would hope someone would give my family or myself when needed someday.

I've been in the nursing field since I was 18 and I love what I do. I enjoy knowing I've done my best to make sure my clients are well taking care of and treated with respect. I take pride in what I do.

I am very empathetic, I'm an easy person to talk to, so the residents often befriend me very quickly; I originally wanted to become a caregiver because I love to help others; I enjoy my relationships with the residents the most; I am proud of the patience I have built working as a caregiver.

I received my certified nursing assistant certificate in 2018 at a technical school through my high school , then I was able to graduate with a certified nursing assistant certificate. While being a certified nursing assistant I have been able to build more skills in the medical field which also helps me in the work setting . While working here I have received my DSP, CMT and CPR certifications. It brings me happiness to know that I am helping people in any type of way. I provide various services including: medication reminders helping shop, getting ready for the day/night, feeding, companionship and entertainment, exercise, memory lost coping, as well as neurological and cognitive strengthening techniques. I am compassionate, high sense of empathy. I am detail oriented, fast learner, very clean and organized. During my undergraduate career I worked as a LifeLink Student Mentor. A student mentor is usually a college student who accompanies young adults who suffer different disabilities to college classes, help them take notes or anything they may require help with. The program was designed to help those young adults experience the college atmosphere after graduating high school. I have also worked with senior citizens, kept them company, prepared meals for them, gave them medicine, cleaned their houses, helped them bathe and change their clothes. What attracted me the most, is all the different personalities I met, all the stories and wisdom individuals shared with me. I got to experience the world through their eyes. For example, when I worked as a student mentor, I did not realize there is adults and college students who did not understand disabilities and were so ignorant to laugh at them. I never imagined people can be so cruel, but I was happy I was there for them to protect them and defend them. It broke my heart when I first experienced such ignorance. The achievement I am proud of most, which I don't think was very special, is getting accepted into Pennsylvania State University. I came to the United States in the year 2005, I came from a country where I wasn't taught English. I was able to teach myself English, I excelled in my high school that I was the only student who is getting paid to tutor other ESL students in Math, I made honor roll in the first semester. I got an outstanding grade in my SAT that got me into PSU with scholarship fully paid. So, this is about, I hope it wasn't too long or boring. Looking forward to meeting and working for you.
