My name is Megan Lenau I'm 18 years of age and I reside out of Washington Missouri. I love working with people of all ages I love being able to put a smile on people faces and giving those who may not smile much a reason for smiling and a reason to keep pushing forward in life . Caring, I do my best to make sure I can do what makes people happy. I'm a people person and pleaser. Being a care giver makes my heart happy by helping others. I enjoy making clients feel less stressed about the things they can't do for them selfs. I am most proud they be the caring person I am because I know it's hard to find caring and nurturing people

I spent 11 years in the military in which I was honorably discharged at the end of 2012. I completed and received an associate degree in art while serving. I continued my education while being unemployed from the time I was released from the military until April of 2013 and earned a bachelor degree in psychology. A week later I began practical nursing school and graduated top of my class a year later and was rewarded the leadership award. I passed my state board and earned my Practical Nursing license with an IV certification. I have since worked as an admission nurse, hospice nurse, agency nurse, floor nurse, managed a long term care facility, and was a day shift manager as well as a day shift unit supervisor. I recently completed my associate's degree in science in nursing and am waiting to sit for boards for my registered nursing license. I am looking to slowly transition from the facility setting into private duty helping people in their home setting.

I enjoy people and find it personally rewarding to help someone that is in need. I like being in a one on one position so I can give individualized attention to who I am caring for. I am a caring and compassionate person , who takes pride in being honest and showing integrity in all areas of my life. I look forward to meeting and helping anyone I am able too.

And if that did happen, I would hope that I had caring individuals to also help me. I want to help and care for someone the way I would want to be cared for. I want to take a moment to express my passion for caregiving and experience in working with both the elderly and individuals with special needs. Over the past 6 years, I have had the privilege of providing care and support to a diverse range of individuals, including those with dementia and autism. it has been incredibly fulfilling to make a positive impact in their lives and witness their growth and well-being.

I am a CNA with 10+ years experience in elderly and memory care. I became a caregiver after caring for my sick father. I have a strong passion for helping older adults live life to the fullest wether in their own home or a facility.

I am a home health aide/ Occupational Therapy Assistant. I work for a company as well as private care to help geriatric patients with ADLs, medication management, and mobility. I also help with light household duties. I have experience in different fields such as retirement facilities and nursing homes.
