I am in excellent health (never smoked, drank or had taken drugs), have a strong back, able to assist with lifting, current on all vaccines and TB test, drug tested, CPR/First Aide certified, no criminal record, clean DMV record and fully insured. I'm a very social person. I enjoy helping and being there for others. I'm caring and take my job seriously when it comes to my clients whether it be the family or the client themselves. I enjoy the outdoors and going for walks and of course listening to my clients talk about what they like. I also enjoy engaging with my clients in games for cognition. I've worked with clients who have Alzheimer's and/or Dementia for over 14 years as a Memory Care Director and caregiver and have enjoyed every moment. I chose to be a caregiver because I wanted to have that one to one time with a client. I've met some wonderful families and clients over the years and enjoy seeing the smiles on their faces when they see their loved ones enjoying life again. My name is Linda. I have 2 grown children, a cat and a dog. My background is 20 + years of working in Social Work to help people succeed and live their best lives. I am a genuinely sincere person who enjoys helping others. I work hard and listen carefully. I am reliable and have a firm understanding of how important reliability is to those expecting you to be there when you say and do what you say. I have worked as a Social Worker in health care for many years and have the ability to assess a home environment and see where the needs are to assist adequately and make helpful recommendations to promote independence. My husband has his own business and I help to manage that business but miss being able to work with others. I think it is fulfilling when you have the ability to assist someone and make their day just a little easier. I enjoy seeing the transformation on an individuals face when you arrive to help with their needs and they seem worn out and discouraged but after you have helped them, listened to what they had to say, and validated them by doing things their way then you see them energized and smiling. That is the most rewarding feeling. I have several personal achievements that I am proud of I went to college and have a Bachelor's degree and did that while raising children, I have helped my granddaughter achieve her goals to go to college and become a nurse, and I have had a successful happy marriage for 31 years now.

I was a CNA for over 25 years, I have worked with DD/IDD population, Alzheimer,Dementia clients. I worked in hospitals on Cardiac, Oncology, ER and Geriatric units. Care giving has been my life's work.I raised 6 children and now get to enjoy grandchildren. I am a team player and client advocate. I enjoy being able to help individuals be able to stay in their home and building great relationships with them and their family. I had 5 bypasses in 2020 and I have worked for myself for the last 5 years so I no longer have a CNA license. If I'm chosen for this position I promise you won't be disappointed.

My name is Angie Brown, I have experience working in skilled facilities and also assisted living. For the last few years I have been doing home health care.
