I had received an Excellence In Action award from Union City Police for preforming CPR & First-Aid on a kid that had a pre-existing heart condition. I was taught CPR in a class that was mandatory for my job teaching Pre-K not knowing how soon I would have to use this new skill. One of my children has special needs who has required specialized care and services including speech, occupational, and physical therapy. I have also worked on the medical side of patient care caring for mastectomy, diabetic foot, and orthotic patients. My own Grandpa passed away in 2017, he had an amazing team of people helping him through his hospice days and I would love to be able to give that kind of care to another family. My biggest personal goal as a caregiver is to provide the most compassionate care and companionship to your loved one, just the same as you would.
