Hello I love taking care of people.Been doing this type of work since the 80s and have so much passion for it.I love sitting next to them hearing about their lives and they usually love hearing about mine.I love making people laugh and smile.I am very easy going and just love life.Taking care of people has been a long time dream of mine and now been doing this a very long time.In my opinion laughter is the best medicine.

He was on a ventilator full time to help him breath and a g-tube so he can eat. I have experience with just about anything and I'm willing to do anything to help my client/patient out. I have been providing companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, laundry and errands off and on for 2 years private and as an employee with a company. I have a total of 7 years overall experience. I am experienced in caring for early-late onset Alzheimer's as well as those who do not suffer from this disease. Experience with those who can become easily agitated even violent. Worked in a day center for 20 months mainly with late stage dementia and also with special needs young adults where I was specially trained to care for dementia in a person centered care. This means the person is treated as an individual and not as an illness. I really love what I do and find I prefer to work on my own because my style is treating everyone with respect regardless of their abilities and making sure all their needs are met are really important to me.
