My name is Anthony I stepped into the caregiving field about 5 years ago as a HTS working with adults with developmental disabilities since then I've worked in every position in the field including management I love this field because at the end of the day you're truly giving back to people who are struggling to help them have a better life the reason I ended up stepping into the field though was I was in a very bad car accident a few years back and I remembered having some good caregivers and some bad caregivers then I was told that after being in a warehouse for about 4 years I was not able to do it due to the fact that I had to be on lighter duty so I wanted to do something wholesome something that would make an impact having a brother would developmental disabilities it inspired me to move forward as a caregiver no I'm not a CNA but I am a m,a,t medication administrative technician I'm certified in CPR first aid as well as safety care I performed every activity in the caregiving field such as maneuvering clients taking them to the bathroom feeding them through a peg tube cooking cleaning you name it

I've been to conferences to learn everything I can about at home care. I have used almost all in-home medical devices I do believe, and I am very comfortable in most environments. I have been a caregiver since I was a teenager. My mom taught me to help others. This is my passion. I have three beautiful children of my own who I love dearly. My daughter is a heart patient and I care for her when she needs me. My oldest son has ADD and ADHD. He requires around the clock care outside of school. My youngest son has a bone disease. I usually care for all of my children after school. I love to care for others. I'm a sweet, caring, loving, and outgoing person who will take care of others like they are my family. I can do any job around the house. I enjoy talking to others about their life and love hearing stories they have to tell. I love to make others smile and let them enjoy life. Seeing others smile, that brings so much joy to me. My personal achievement would be going back to school. I went back to school for computers. I love working on computers and caring for others. My life has spiral downhill because I don't have that support from family and friends. I just want to show others that there are people who genuinely care and want to be there for them.
