I I enjoy and keeping their bodies moving with a little bit of exercise fit for their situation. I am the mother of two high-spirited an amazing young men ages 23 and 20. My from his son moved out 2 months ago. So I would like to do more to fulfill my life and doing for others and helping others gives me that for filament and joy. I plan to be moving to Mobile the end of March.

I have been an LPN for 30 years.I worked for approximately 25 years in long term care with geriatrics.I chose geriatrics after being a caregiver for my grandmother who was diagnosed with dementia.After 25 years in long term care I transitioned to hospice care for the last 5 years.I continue to work with hospice prn and I am looking to work with patients to provide in home care.During my nursing career I specialized in wound care.I am a caregiver from the heart and will provide excellent care to those that I serve.

They had certain disabilities, both physical and mental/psychological, that touched my heart and helped me realize the importance of quality of life to everyone, not just to those who are healthy. Then, I achieved 89 credits towards my BSN (bachelors degree in nursing) and graduated with honors in Surgical Technolgy from Tennessee Technology Center, First Aid at MTSU, and am a licensed CNA and am CPR/BLS certified, and have a Leadership Award from St. Thomas Hospital. I currently work at a hospital as a CNA/PCA and am looking to work part-time to possibly full-time for someone who has the need for home health and/or caregiver needs. I have been interested in care giving since I was a teenager. In high school, I was a teachers aid to mentally challenged students, which I loved!! I was the caregiver to my Grandfather before he passed away in 2012, and I also was a caregiver to my mother for 3 years due to her epilepsy. I have always been passionate about helping others, it's an amazing feeling knowing that you are not only making someone's else's day, but they are making yours too! I have currently been a caregiver to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for almost 4 years now, and I do believe I am one of the best caregivers in my company, for many reasons.
