I am very loving and caring, am personate about my tasks. Back from my country, l care for my grandma and since then l have always love to care for people who need assistance. The fact that l can make someone smile and doing little things to make an impact gives me joy. Empathy, patience, flexibility.

I helped care for my grandfather from the time my grandmother passed and started off with light duties, such as chaffeuring him around, running errands, preparing meals, and helping him get undressed and in bed. Over the course of my care, my duties expanded to helping with medication, scheduling appointments, transferring from bed to wheelchair, and showering/bathing. I am a very caring and loving person and find it easy to get along with anyone I meet. I pride myself in always seeing the best in people and trying to understand an individual's point of view. Since I was a young boy, I cared deeply about the well-being of others and making people feel comfortable. I love connecting with people and learning and sharing their interests. I'm proud to say that my grandfather lived to be 84 and enjoyed a comfortable six years under my care when the doctors believed he would quickly follow his wife.

I'm a good listener and I know how lonely it can be when you are alone, with family away or working and you don't feel very assured of getting up and around,I would like to help you feel more assured that you can have assistance. I enjoy being around older people that have stories of what seems like ages past and those days that maybe the younger generation doesn't relate to. I like to help ease your mind with laundry, light housekeeping,run errands,sit and keep you company. I don't mind taking temporary assignments, maybe there's something coming up that you need help or something unexpected has happened and you find yourself needing some help.

I am a mother of two daughters. I am also a full time student at South Plains College. I have been working with individuals for over 5 years and I must say that this field is my calling in life, and the reason why I am furthering my education in nursing.
