I am a very caring and patient person always looking out for their needs and making the person feel safe and loved. I like being a caregiver because I like them feeling like family members. I received graditude from family members working at Coastal Plains group home.

I have many personality traits that make me the perfect candidate. I'm patient, positive, funny, always willing to help, and love to help people. What attracts me to caregiving is I have excelled and learned so much of the importance of caregivers that truly care by taking care of my Mother-in-Law. I am so specific on how things need done and I also became an expert unfortunately caring for my mom before she passed. I love getting to know my companion, laughing with them, alleviating any stresses they are having, and letting them know they're safe and taken care of as long as I am there. A personal achievement I am proud of is not only caring for my terminally sick mom, but also somehow maintaining running her business while still always being there for whatever she needed. It was the hardest part of my life, but I was forced to grow up quickly to take care of her the way she had me my whole life. I dropped out of college at Texas Tech and put all my time and energy into her.
