I'm a very kind, hardworking individual. I love taking care of people whether elderly or young, it's something I've always loved doing. I came from a family of caregivers as well my mother and grand mother were both excellent caregiver for a very long time. Which is one thing that attract ed me too caregiving.. I really enjoy the smiles that I can put on my residents faces, I also love encouraging them while letting the ones that can have their independency. Making someone's day or load a little bit lighter makes me feel excellent. One of my greatest achievements in long term care are deaths that I have prevented which range for cpr , to close observation , and even time management (quick responding).

I have taken care of and taught children with handicapping disabilities. 4years to 15 years old. I was a teacher for 27 years of these fantastic children. I decided it was time to retire but need to supplement my income with a part time job. I have certified in CPR and the ADI . I would love to help others that need special care. I have taught children with all kinds of disabilities. I have knowledge in many areas. Looking forward into helping others with a fuller life. I am trained in some wheel chairs and caring for the needs of others.

I live in woodville but will travel to work. I plan on moving to the Beaumont area here soon. So therefore traveling will not be a problem. I became a caregiver so i could take care of those that are in need and could provide a comfortable life for them. I take care of everyone as if they are my own family. I do this for them.
