I have two children of my own that I care for and enjoy taking care of others. I am a fun-loving person that has a wide variety of interests. I love to smile and be funny. I love cooking, going on hikes, movie marathons, traveling, dancing, games, and basically anything that is a good time (or can be made fun). I love pets, kids, helping around the house, random projects, work-out buddy or just someone to talk to. I play the piano, although it's been awhile since I've played, and I like talking science. I was a teacher for awhile so if you would like to teach me something new I would greatly love that! I enjoy being able to make someone else's day better by helping out in any way I can. I am proud of my academic achievements, but I am more proud of my kids and how they are growing up to be wonderful people. I am attracted to being a caregiver because I enjoy the company of people and getting to know others. I look forward to meeting you!

I believe I am a good caregiver because, when my aunt got diagnosed with a lot of things. I had to step up and help her out in every category! I love helping out people that are in need. If I do not help them I feel guilty. I have a great personality, I know how to help out in almost every situation.
In 2017 my grandmother had a major stroke which left her paralyzed, using a feeding tube, on insulin, and unable to talk. My grandfathers dementia and Parkinson's became much worse to the point he became paralyzed. I have always loved helping people and fell more and more in love with it after my grandparents moved into our home. They have since past and I miss helping them out.
I first became a care giver because it was easy to get a job as a care giver but then I began to enjoy the fact that I make the difference between a good day or a bad day to my clients by trying my best to meet their needs and making them comfortable and needed .I am a mature woman who has both handicapped and elderly close family members so I know what care and compassion can do to such individuals.
I have become, what I consider myself to be, an amazing caregiver. I have a huge heart and i tend to put everyone I care for above and beyond everything else. I listen carefully to peoples needs as well as wants and do my very best to provide what is expected by them or the families NO QUESTION. I decided I wanted to be a caregiver at a young age. My grandmother was diagnosed with dementia and everyone in my family brushed it off as just 'old age'. Well, I wanted to learn more about this dementia and see what I could do to help better her life and the lives of others in this predicament. What I am proud of most is all the positive feedback from families as well as co-workers, managers included, about how great I am and how lucky a place or family is to have me. I have many personal achievements but the one I am most proud of, is I will ALWAYS and forever as long as I am caring for loved ones of my own or others, put quality over quantity. I have learned that people need good care no matter the life span, young or old.
I am a mom of twin boys, I have been in the medical field for over 20yrs, started off and a CNA in a nursing home and went in to get my Medical Assistant certification. I worked in the ED and after having children I worked in the lab processing specimens and drawing labs but eventually missed patient care patient contact. So after the kids were older, I started a job in Urgent Care and I love it. I enjoy talking and listening to patients. You can find out a lot about a person in a short amount of time and many older adults have very interesting history.
